RESPONSIBILITIES

Alegeus is modernizing into an API first, open integration platform that powers partners, employers, and participants across consumer- directed- healthcare. You will own the Integrations product surface so that partners can integrate faster with higher reliability, enabling new experiences and AI/agentic workflows. Integration

Ownership Scope

You will own all external integration modalities at Alegeus, including:

  • Data integrations: Public APIs, webhooks, event streams, real-time interfaces, and asynchronous messaging patterns
    File-based integrations: EDI, CSV, batch processing, and secure file transfer (e.g., SFTP)
    Experience integrations: front-end microservices, embeddable widgets, and partner-facing UI extensions

  • This role ensures that the above is designed, delivered, and evolved as one cohesive platform, not disconnected channels, with shared standards for security, versioning, observability, reliability, and partner experience.

Outcomes you’ll own

  • Reduce partner timetofirstvalue and increase adoption across key use cases. 

  • Ship a coherent v2 API set with clear versioning, deprecation, and a reliable release cadence. 

  • Launch a webhook/event framework (subscribe, replay, DLQ, idempotency) with partnergrade SLAs. 

  • Deliver a developer experience that delights: dev portal, docs, SDKs, samples, error taxonomy, sandbox, chatbot, etc. 

  • Establish product analytics & KPIs (adoption, latency, reliability, errors, partner NPS) with dashboards. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the roadmap for Data, File and Experience integrations; define problem statements, success metrics, and crisp PRDs. 

  • Partner with design/engineering/Product owners to deliver secure, scalable interfaces and reference implementations. 

  • Work directly with marquee partners to map JTBD and translate into stable contracts/schemas. 

  • Drive packaging, auth models (OAuth/OIDC), rate limits, quotas, SLAs, and change management. 

  • Orchestrate launches: docs, changelogs, guides, enablement, and internal readiness. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 6–10+ years in PM with SaaS integrations as your product (not just “has APIs”). 

  • Handson track record shipping public REST APIs & webhooks at scale; familiarity with async patterns, retries, backoff, and event semantics. 

  • Strong grasp of DX: information architecture for docs, quickstarts, SDK stewardship, error design. 

  • Data exchange expertise: realtime + bulk, schema evolution, validation, and observability for integrations. 

  • Excellent partnerfacing skills: discovery, solutioning, negotiating tradeoffs, clear communication. 

 

Nice to have 

  • Healthcare, claims/eligibility, fintech/payments, or benefits ecosystem experience. 

  • API monetization/packaging, partner marketplaces, or appecosystem playbooks. 

  • Observability for integrations (schema drift detection, tracing, deadlettering, replay tools).

  • Adoption of v2 endpoints & webhook subscriptions; reduction in partner integration time. 

  • Reliability (SLO attainment), latency improvements, and error rate reductions for integration flows. 

  • Partner and developer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT), documentation usability scores, and support ticket deflection.
