The Impact of a Senior Product Manager at Coupa:
The Product:
Coupa Treasury is a cloud-native market-leading Treasury Management System that offers all relevant treasury functionalities and beyond for companies looking for treasury solutions. Fully automated cash management processes help to focus on decision making, whereby exceptions from the expected processes outcomes are caught and brought up to the Cash manager to investigate it. Furthermore, the system offers payment integration, financial instrument handling, liquidity planning, netting, accounting integration and more to drive value for our customers.
The Role:
As a Product Manager on the Coupa Treasury team, you’ll help us define and build a product that solves customers’ pain points by bringing real value to the customers organisation and is intuitive to use. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who acts as the bridge between technical excellence and customer success. You will collaborate with our engineering, user experience, and business teams as well as our customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savviness; a big-picture vision and an internal drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy digging deeper, collaborating, rolling up your sleeves, and getting it done.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Evolution: Approach our mature treasury suite with "fresh eyes." You will analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities for modernization and enhanced value.
- Executive Presence: Represent Coupa Treasury as a thought leader at User Groups and global customer events. You will translate complex product roadmaps into clear, value-driven visions for senior finance executives.
- Feature Development: Balance innovation, customer, and market needs to deliver value to our customers with delightful, and user-like experiences.
- Complex Solution Navigation: Act as a high-level partner for our most strategic accounts, navigating sophisticated technical challenges and ensuring our customers remain unblocked and successful.
- Technical Deep-Dives: Partner closely with Engineering to investigate complex system behaviors, ensuring our platform maintains the highest standards of reliability and performance.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work across UX, Engineering, and Customer Success to align the "ground truth" of the user experience with our long-term product vision.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of managing mature, complex B2B SaaS products.
- Exceptional Communication: A natural "stage presence" with the ability to communicate with authority and empathy to audiences ranging from developers to CFOs.
- Analytical Curiosity: A passion for "digging into the details" to understand the how and why behind complex software, and the courage to propose better ways forward.
- AI Strategy & Applied Innovation: Ability to leverage AI/ML to solve treasury problems with a practical understanding of the data requirements and technical logic needed for implementation.
- Resilience and Empathy: A calm, professional demeanor when navigating high-stakes customer requirements or time-sensitive technical resolutions.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: A proven track record of resolving intricate product roadblocks and turning technical challenges into opportunities for customer delight.
- Fluency in English
- Experience in FinTech, Treasury, or Complex ERP systems is highly valued.
- A background that combines technical depth (Engineering/Architecture) with business acumen.
- Additional languages (German, French) are a significant plus.
