FanDuel is seeking a Senior Product Manager to support the strategy and execution for New Ventures, focusing on implementing innovative, customer-first solutions that drive engagement and business growth. In this role, you will own key product initiatives within emerging product areas, working closely with cross-functional teams to build and scale FanDuel's presence in new markets and opportunities.
As an integral team member, you will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Data Science teams to implement and refine product features aligned with our broader vision. Specifically, you will focus on enabling personalization and data-driven user experiences, ensuring fans discover markets tailored to their interests and have access to the insights needed for confident participation.
You will contribute significantly to cross-functional flywheel initiatives, using data-driven insights to enhance New Ventures' product offerings and drive business value. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver innovative solutions that expand FanDuel's footprint across digital and retail platforms.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Product Strategy Implementation: Work with the Lead PM and Sr. Director to execute product strategy and objectives. Transform high-level vision into actionable plans, leveraging customer research, competitive analysis, and business requirements to inform feature prioritization and development. Propose, prioritize, and articulate more complex product feature sets, identifying user problems, and untapped strategic opportunities, beginning to influence business context for domain.  
  • Metrics and Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics for assigned initiatives. Provide regular updates on progress, identify areas for optimization, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. Define medium to long term product success criteria, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and business goals, beginning to use a/b testing to drive products.  
  • Product and Market Knowledge: Maintain strong understanding of product features, user journeys, and industry dynamics. Keep abreast of market trends and competitor movements to contribute insights for product evolution.
  • User Research and Insights: Partner with research teams to gather and analyze user feedback, conduct usability testing, and translate findings into practical product improvements that enhance the customer experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics tools to monitor product performance and user behavior. Design and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and make recommendations for product optimization based on data insights.
  • Feature Development and Execution: Create detailed product requirements documents and user stories. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful feature delivery, managing scope and technical feasibility throughout the development process. Partner with product owner and engineering manager to drive activities of multiple teams, ensuring effective prioritization, refinement, and delivery.  
  • Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Coordinate with QA teams to ensure product quality standards are met. Manage bug prioritization and resolution, working with development teams to maintain product stability and performance. Ensure overall team output solves user problems and maintains quality standards.  
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with team members across functions. Facilitate effective communication between teams and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Coach and provide strategic oversight for the engineering team(s), ensuring product owner creates requirements that accurately reflect scope, working with junior team members to ensure alignment and clarity.   
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, concise updates to stakeholders at various levels. Create compelling presentations to communicate product progress, challenges, and wins. Lead development of risk mitigation strategy, driving trade-offs, and clearly communicate risks and blockers to key stakeholders.  
  • Team Contribution: Actively participate in team initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence. Share knowledge and best practices with peers while supporting the broader team's success through collaboration and mentorship. 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 5+ years' experience as a product manager or similar role required  
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products  
  • Technical experience, and working with 3rd party engineering parties
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality  
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables  
  • Demonstrated success cross-functionally influencing teams without formal authority  
  • Strong quantitative skills  
  • Excellent critical thinking skills  
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  
  • A passion for building products that make complex systems simple and engaging for users
  • Background in finance, investing, or market-based products (e.g., prediction markets, trading apps, or sports markets) and experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
