About This Role:

We’re looking for a full-time Senior Product Manager to join our Product team  reporting to the VP Product Management - CS and A. This role is a remote role based in the United States.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in connecting customer and market insights with our product strategy by serving as the vital bridge between customers and prospects in key markets and our technical product teams in India. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with teams like Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in product strategy, customer engagement, and market analysis.

What You'll Do: 

  • Customer Engagement: Regularly meet with customers and prospects to understand their needs, gather insights on market trends, and identify strategic initiatives.

  • Strategic Prioritization: Translate customer feedback into actionable product priorities, working closely with the India-based PM and R&D teams to deliver features that meet market demands.

  • Building Customer Trust: Develop strong relationships with key customers by addressing their feedback and aligning the product roadmap to meet their needs and expectations.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure product features align with strategies and drive business value.

  • Product Advocacy: Champion the product roadmap by representing the team and product vision, to inspire and engage both internal and external audiences.

This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role may require occasional travel (up to 20%) for customer meetings, internal collaboration, or company events.

What We're Looking For: 

  • 8+  years of product management or related experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of working closely with customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a post-graduate degree is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience collaborating with global teams across locations and cultures.

  • Passion for customer engagement and understanding market dynamics.

  • Demonstrated success in aligning product strategy with user needs.

  • Ability to foster trust and build strong relationships with both internal teams and  customers.

Our Compensation and Benefits: At Gainsight, we believe great work happens when teammates feel fully supported. 

  • The starting base salary range for this role is $167,000 – $178,000 USD annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual bonus and participation in Gainsight’s equity program.

  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package including fully covered medical premiums (employee-only), flexible PTO, 401(k) plan, dental and vision coverage, and remote work options.
