SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - FORTNITE CREATOR ECOSYSTEMWhat We Do

As part of the Fortnite Creator Ecosystem team, Product Management collaborates with development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to define product strategy informed by data and market insights. The team aims to empower creators to operate as game publishers, with the tools, insights, and support needed to build, launch, grow, and monetize successful games. This work centers on two core areas: enabling a robust creator publishing ecosystem and supporting sustainable creator monetization.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the Ecosystem Matchmaking team. This role is ideal for a candidate who can define a compelling vision for matchmaking and adjacent systems, align cross-functional teams to that vision, and relentlessly drive outcomes that improve engagement and retention across the Fortnite ecosystem. The successful candidate will own an entire product area, balancing immediate player needs with long-term strategy.

In this role, you will
  • Set and communicate a clear vision for matchmaking grounded in validated player and creator needs, aligned with org strategy
  • Lead structured, cross-team discovery to reduce risk before committing resources
  • Prioritize initiatives based on potential business and customer impact, not just urgency
  • Drive the matchmaking ecosystem strategy, optimizing time-to-match across platforms and modes while delivering innovative, net-new features
  • Maintain ongoing measurement and iteration, leveraging A/B testing, data insights, and player feedback to maximize results post-launch
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Production, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Legal to ensure alignment on outcomes
  • Own KPIs and conduct deep analysis to extract learnings, adjust strategy, and continuously improve matchmaking systems and report on product performance, outcomes, and key KPIs to executive leadership
What we're looking for
  • Passion for games and a deep understanding of matchmaking, engagement, and retention principles
  • Strong experience with SQL, data analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Demonstrated ability to own an entire product area with clear goals and roadmap alignment to org strategy
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, balancing discovery with delivery, and driving measurable business and player impact
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate vision, trade-offs, and reasoning
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resilient, and able to anticipate and resolve blockers
Nice to have
  • Prior experience working in gaming or in game-adjacent spaces, and familiarity with UGC platforms
  • Business, quantitative, technical, or design degree a plus
