Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the product team.
- Collaborate with engineering, qa, design, marketing, and sales teams to develop and refine product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to quality standards.
- Partner closely with product leaders to champion initiatives that align with Retirement business goals.
- Lead a cross-functional team to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Engage in stakeholder management, presenting updates and insights to internal teams and clients.
- Demonstrates leadership of the Scrum team and acts as a Subject Matter Expert in any product related discussions both internally and externally with institutional clients.
- When required, complete market research and product fit analysis, including target market and competitor analysis.
- Propose strategy and manage regular reviews of existing offerings and operating model, to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently. Proactively drive new business initiatives through research, documentation, and implementation.
- Consistently executes on deliverables and ensures quality through attention to detail.
- Continue to update knowledge about trends in US retirement industry and suggest product improvements accordingly.
- Use data to drive decisions on product enhancement along with prioritization. Setting up and adjusting KPIs to determine success for product objectives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- A bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, with 6-8 years of relevant experience in product management.
- Proven strong experience of having managed products and services over the entire lifecycle.
- Experience working with data and defining requirements to inform decision making and prioritization. Setting up and adjusting KPIs to determine success for product objectives.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly to a range of stakeholders and clients verbally and through a variety of presentation styles and production of written narratives.
- A willingness to work at varying levels within the business, being as comfortable reviewing detailed process flows as presenting ideas to senior leaders.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, through coaching and mentoring responsibilities in current or past positions
- Ability to create and promote a culture of product management excellence and innovation.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, including familiarity with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Experience with the US retirement industry.
