ABOUT THIS ROLE

Position: Senior Product Manager

Location: 888 Seventh Ave. 32nd Floor, New York, NY 10106

Responsibilities: Responsible for identifying and defining products Apex should be building and determining their outcomes. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development by reading pages of financial regulations and attending industry conferences. Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) inside of Apex. Collaborate with the team to plan projects and research emerging requirements. Review items on the backlog to ensure the backlog contains the appropriate items, that they are prioritized, and that the items at the top of the backlog are ready for delivery. Meet with subject matter experts, key customers, and senior-level decision-makers to determine product specifications. Research and analyze market trends. Provide insights and recommendations for business stakeholders based on market research studies and ensure the sale and profitability of products. Utilize business metrics to drive strategy and innovation. Define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for new products and coordinate marketing activities to promote new products. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document detailed product requirements and lead products from design to launch. Managing value stream network for flow. Utilize strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products. Research, define, and document market and product requirements. Own the full lifecycle of product development. Provide solutions to business and or technical issues. Position also requires periodic, intermittent travel up to 20% to various worksites within the United States.       

Educ./experience: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Product Manager, Software Developer, or in a related position. Experience must include Business Process Management including managing business process changes and implementing customized solutions; Designing custom test patterns to enhance information accessibility and security measures within web applications; and collaborating with corporate end-users to gather requirements, identify areas for functionality improvement, and ensure alignment of web applications with business objectives. Position also requires periodic, intermittent travel up to 20% to various worksites within the United States.

Salary range: $170,000 - $218,700/year
