Job Description

At Gcore we are in the exciting early stages of bringing an innovative FastEdge product to the market. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping its future and contributing to its financial success.

What is FastEdge?

FastEdge is a lightweight edge computing solution that runs on our global Edge Network and delivers exceptional performance for serverless apps and scripts. FastEdge benefits businesses and developers by bringing computational power closer to the end user and significantly cutting the time from end user request to response.

Responsibilities:

  • We're exploring a range of possibilities, from targeting businesses (B2B) to consumers (B2C) in the areas of AI, Fintech, Internet of Things and more. As a Senior Product manager, we’d expect you to identify the most impactful direction revenue wise and differentiate FastEdge from the rest of the competition.
  • You’d need to maintain team’s focus on the selected direction: prioritise against other requests, remove blockers, bring business perspective to every interaction with your team. 
  • You’ll work closely with product marketing and sales on the go-to-market strategy to make FastEdge a financially successful product. We’d expect you to support the teams by providing sales decks, marketing briefs, pricing guidelines, etc.
  • You’ll collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate product vision and strategy into clear product requirements and execute it.
  • You’ll lead features post-launch data-driven activities to ensure successful adoption and user growth and course correct if needed. 
  • You’ll report on FastEdge strategy and progress during regular team calls and events. 

Qualifications

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in product management, with an extensive track record of successfully managing and launching technical B2B products.
  • You have strong written and verbal English communication skills, ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • You have previous experience working in an agile software development environment and with cross-functional geographically distributed teams.
  • You are able to easily understand what products like Vercel, Deno, Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Edge Compute are doing.
  • You are passionate tech enthusiast with a strong interest in the latest industry trends and innovations.
  • Experience with web development either as an engineer or a product manager is a plus.
