Senior Product Manager

Our output changes the communications game.

The products you will be working on are related to our internal tooling and our newly built platform intends to solve Vonage-wide use cases and now, we need a product manager to help ensure that Vonage teams have the best possible experience with the tools they use every day. 

What will you do?

• Work with teams such as Finance, Operations to Fraud to collect, prioritize, and validate business requirements for delivery.
• Collaborate with individual Product Managers for data driven prioritization 
• Work with the engineering and UX design teams to build an outcome focussed user experience.
• Document, train, and coach teams to effectively use the products, features, and solutions you deliver.

What you will bring

• Highly analytical and at ease with influencing others through facts, insights, and great presentation abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with the technical elements of product design, development and application.
• Basic understanding of how APIs and micro-frontends work
• Ability to conduct user research and create wireframes to drive UX design
• Learning and open mindset: not constrained to use only one set of technologies from previous experience; open to different methods to achieve business goals.
• Experience rolling up your sleeves at start-ups or able to demonstrate an ambitious track record at a large corporation or in parallel to your work.

Required 

• 5+ years’ experience in product management in a high technology setting.
• Experience of working with UX Designers, wireframing and writing technical requirements for building complex web applications
• Understanding of databases (MySQL), SQL queries and data schemas.

Desired 

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 
• Previous software development experience at some point in your career.
• Comfortable presenting and explaining complex ideas to multiple different stakeholders.
• Passionate about building tools to help thousands of employees be better at their jobs.
• Cares about the little big details when wireframing/prototyping complex UIs for web applications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), definition of done frameworks.
• Ability to break down complex product requirements into user stories
