About the role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a crucial member of our product team, helping define the direction and the evolution of our customer engagement platform. You will work collaboratively with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to ensure that we are building the right product for our customers and be responsible for making decisions that will shape the success of our platform in the market.


How you'll make an impact

- Our customer engagement platform comprises a suite of products, including Reviews, Referrals, Quizzes, and Loyalty and is used by some of the biggest and best e-commerce brands globally to build trust, drive sales, and maximize customer lifetime value.

- You will bring creativity, strategic thinking and a data-driven mindset to deliver impactful change across the existing portfolio products and navigate ambiguous green field product opportunities.

- This is a high-profile role, reporting to our Head of Product, best suited to someone who finds it easy to translate complex concepts into simple language and visuals that anyone can understand.


What you will do

- Create and refine a product strategy that aligns with our broader company strategy, including creating and owning the roadmap.

- Work collaboratively with your Pod to conduct continuous product discovery and deliver compelling product offerings.

- Own product activities from end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, and go-to-market activity.

- Collect & analyse relevant data & metrics to make better decisions and share learnings across the company.

- Become a voice of the customer and an expert on the business.

Act as a leadership and culture driver without formal authority.


About You

- Practical experience in modern product discovery methodologies and can build a product strategy and execute against that strategy.

- A commercial mindset but understanding the importance of being customer first.

- An empathetic nature and an effective communicator who can influence multiple stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the business.

- A strategic thinker with excellent judgement and decision-making skills.

- Deeply passionate about data and insights and using them to inform your decisions.

- Adaptable and flexible with an openness to new ideas. You set a high standard of personal performance and help others achieve those standards through mentoring and sharing knowledge.

- Experience with complex B2B SaaS products.

- Evidence of tangible results from identifying product opportunities that you have brought to market and have resulted in positive business growth.

- You are a customer experience champion with a passion for creating scalable solutions that empower the customer.

- You are a curious observer and empathetic to the needs of the customer.

- You are a strategic thinker, focused on how things work, what we should build, and why.

- You exercise excellent judgement and decision-making skills and understand the importance of taking a pragmatic approach when necessary.

1-Month Success

- Understand the intricacies of Okendo’s platform offering, the market landscape, the business domain and KPIs.

- Meet your team - the engineering pod members and the product team.

- Know who your key stakeholders are and start interacting with them.

- Get familiar with the current product roadmap and start leaning in.


6-Month Success

- You have delivered planned initiatives on the product roadmap.

- You have employed continuous discovery and developed a deep understanding of the customers' needs and pain points.

- You have consistently showcased the ability to measure, learn, and iterate on product features.

- You work well with your peer groups and stakeholder groups.


1-Year Success

- You actively contribute to the product strategy with innovative and impactful ideas and explain why the product should take a particular direction.

- You deeply care about product KPIs and actively build a product strategy around moving the needle.

- You understand the e-commerce landscape and can anticipate trends.

- You can grow to be a leader and craft the product function.
