Insurance is complex, and shopping is high friction and lacks transparency. Our goal on the insurance team is to automate access to fair and transparent insurance personalized to a member’s financial journey. We are transforming the industry through products like Karma Drive, our usage based insurance product, to provide members with higher price certainty, an easier purchase process, and unique savings opportunities.
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Product Manager to lead our insurance vertical. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the insurance and/or fintech industries, strong product management skills related to consumer products, and a passion for creating products that enhance our members’ financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a product strategy for the insurance vertical that solves key member problems but also aligns with Credit Karma’s mission and business objectives.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle for insurance products, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and data analytics, to create and launch innovative insurance products and features.
- Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for new insurance products and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Define and prioritize the insurance product roadmap, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to achieve business goals and KPIs.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 6+ years of product management experience, preferably consumer focused; insurance and/or fintech experience a plus
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital consumer products
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of user experience principles and product design, specifically for insurance products
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for financial technology and empowering individuals to improve their financial health through innovative insurance solutions
