About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Product Manager to join our dynamic product team. In this critical role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of data flows, ensuring efficient operations across our financial products. You will collaborate closely with the data operation teams to ensure seamless product performance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in data management, fintech industry expertise, and a talent for leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Operations: Ensure smooth product operations by managing data flows, maintaining data quality, and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Data - focus on data and handle all aspects from collection to analysis
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, data science, risk & compliance, and business teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate progress.
- Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of data-related projects from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
- Product Management: Understand the impact of product decisions and prioritize tasks to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure the data pipeline meets business objectives and user needs.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues and bottlenecks, propose solutions, and coordinate with technical teams to implement fixes.
- Documentation and Training: Document data flows and processes comprehensively and provide training to relevant stakeholders.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, data analysis or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of product management or project management experience, with at least 3 years in the fintech industry focused on data pipeline or data management products. Experience in product operations is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, Python, or Java.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data security protocols.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Product: Expertise in prioritizing and refining requirements to align with business goals and user needs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Operational Knowledge: Experience in data operations, including data flow management, data quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
