WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at Alo—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

OVERVIEW

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital solutions and features. We're looking for someone with deep experience in the ecommerce landscape who can drive initiatives from inception to completion. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead ecommerce features, taking ownership of defining requirements for projects pivotal to the delivery & success of Alo's business. Utilize a strategic approach to identify, prioritize, and streamline feature opportunities, emphasizing MVP development and rapid time-to-market as primary decision-making factors.
  • Forge strong partnerships with functional leads and third-party vendors to define and prioritize use cases. Lead the creation of detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications. Work closely with UX/Design, Product, and Engineering teams to translate vision into tangible outcomes, considering factors like cost, timeline, dependencies, and impact.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks, issues, and roadblocks that may hinder the team's ability to achieve strategic, financial, and technical objectives. Implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Play a pivotal role in launching new features by collaborating closely with business stakeholders. Coordinate business tasks, problem solve as issues arise, manage releases, and optimize the customer experience through rigorous testing and data analysis.
  • Articulate complex, proposals, and risks effectively to senior executives, align and inform cross functional teams on all aspects of projects, conveying a clear point of view and garnering support for product initiatives. Develop and manage project and/or program plans as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior product team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Additionally, oversee the management of consultants and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product management in e-commerce or closely related consumer facing product.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and optimizing digital products/features in a high growth or early-stage company.

What We Do

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at Alo—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.
That’s why we started Alo —to spread good: to anyone who is experiencing the transformative power of yoga, to the world’s best yogis who wear Alo to practice because it’s the only line that actually elevates their practice, to the celebrities and the fashion-forward who wear Alo because it’s the perfect street brand, comfortable, contemporary and decidedly not just for the mat.
Creating garments that carry over to the street, into a life lived consciously, takes mindful movement one step further: a beautiful life celebrated with beautiful design. Capturing what’s trending in contemporary fashion with both the women’s and men’s collections makes it so Alo can travel beyond the studio. Luxury meets performance in every collection.
Mindful movement carries over to life at Alo, where there’s a solar-powered office, yoga five days a week for employees at our on-site gym, electric-car charging stations, an advanced recycling program that reduces waste to that of a small household, and meetings outside by the fountains in our meditative Zen garden. We have a gong. And we use it. Our stores are designed to be places to commune—people and ideas mingle over organic juice, kombucha and coffee. And the airy yoga studio and roof deck at our Beverly Hills flagship store is where it’s really happening. There’s even a super-sized cosmic mural on one wall—come by for some astral travel (or just to take an Instagram pic).
