We’re looking for an experienced product manager to collaborate with engineering on the strategy and execution of initiatives on our Platform team. As a Senior Product Manager at Vistar, you will work closely with engineering, business facing teams, and external stakeholders to manage the full product lifecycle process – from idea conception, to defining product specs and requirements, to go-to-market launch, to deploying future iterations based on market feedback. About the team: The Platform Engineering team at Vistar has a wide-ranging scope, from improving developer quality of life, infrastructure and deployment pipelines, to enhancing the authentication experience for Vistar customers. You will have the opportunity to understand and build solutions for both internal Vistar teams and end users. There is a future opportunity for this role to expand to include other core infrastructure and internal tools used to power our external products and scale operations (e.g. APIs, reporting).

What you'll do:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the infrastructure powering developer workflows to contribute to prioritization decisions
  • Help define product security standards and create a roadmap to achieve and maintain those standards
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders on platform strategy and the creation and execution of roadmaps to improve our core infrastructure
  • Support the launch of platform team initiatives that impact customer workflows - e.g. login management/authentication. 
  • Measure product usage and gather user feedback to inform future iterations of existing products 

What experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. engineering, computer science, etc.), or Bachelor's degree in any field and 7+ years of professional experience working as a Product Manager.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management with a deep understanding of platform technologies, cloud infrastructure and engineering processes
  • Proven ability to define product vision, translate it into actionable roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Authentication experience (platforms like Auth0/Cognito or protocols like OAuth, SAML 2.0, OIDC)
  • Experience building and working within cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience working with compliance, privacy, and security requirements and stakeholders
  • Experience managing developer friendly API-based products

Pay Information Disclaimer:

At Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause compensation to vary. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position. The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $140- $170k and as performed in CA is $140-$170k, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend. The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City and CA may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
