Senior Product Manager
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As the Senior Product Manager, you will apply Agile principles and frameworks to enable iterative delivery, effective prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the product and initiative lifecycle. As an internal role, the Tech Product Manager supports initiatives and teams across Oliver Wyman. While our primary focus is on consulting, this position is situated within our Technology organization.
We will count on you to:
- Drive and execute Oliver Wyman Tech initiatives aligned with firm and departmental strategy.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage expectations, and ensure roles, responsibilities, and priorities are clearly defined.
- Partner with stakeholders and technology teams to support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop initiative plans with clear objectives, deliverables, milestones, communication plans, and success measures.
- Apply Agile frameworks and ways of working to structure delivery, manage priorities, and enable incremental value delivery.
- Lead product delivery in fast-paced, cross-functional environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks to manage dependencies and drive measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and working sessions, including planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
- Partner with Product Owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to prioritize requirements, manage backlogs, and translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative enhancements.
- Identify critical paths, dependencies, and risks; track them and facilitate appropriate mitigation.
- Manage initiative resources and budgets to ensure objectives and financial targets are met.
- Report initiative health and status using agreed initiative management systems and tools.
- Promote continuous improvement by leveraging feedback, delivery insights, and lessons learned to strengthen team effectiveness and outcomes.
- Ensure initiative closure meetings are held and produce closure reports highlighting outcomes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
What you need to have:
- 6 + years of experience working as Product Manager or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, as well as traditional initiative management approaches, with the ability to adapt delivery methods based on the needs of the product, initiative, and organization.
- A solid technical background with experience in product ownership and relationship management, particularly in managing cloud implementation initiatives within large organizations (AWS primary or Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in budgeting, invoicing, and initiative financial management, supported by excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional planning capabilities, a strong customer service orientation, and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Proven ability to plan and facilitate effective meetings, deliver strong presentations, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with over five years of experience in product and initiative management.
