  • Lead the strategy, roadmap and end-to-end lifecycle of multiple Cloudways products or a significant product area, from discovery and validation through launch, adoption, growth and continuous improvement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cloudways customers, including developers, digital agencies, ecommerce businesses and SMBs, and translate their needs into clear product opportunities and priorities.
  • Lead continuous product discovery through customer interviews, usability testing, surveys, behavioral analysis, competitive research and market validation.
  • Establish structured customer feedback loops across Product, Customer Support, Customer Success, Sales, Community and other customer-facing teams. Ensure insights are regularly synthesized, prioritized and incorporated into product decisions.
  • Define customer problems, product requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes for new products and capabilities.
  • Build compelling business cases by assessing customer value, market opportunity, strategic alignment, development effort, operating costs, revenue potential and business risk.
  • Own and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring teams understand not only what they are building, but the customer and business outcomes the work is expected to achieve.
  • Work closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Product Marketing, Customer Support, Finance and other functions to take products from concept to successful market adoption.
  • Set the direction for the product experience and partner with UX and Engineering to create simple, intuitive experiences that reduce the complexity of managing websites, applications and cloud infrastructure.
  • Operate as an AI-first Product Manager by actively identifying where AI, automation and agentic experiences can improve customer outcomes, product discovery, internal workflows, decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize customer feedback, analyze product data, develop prototypes, validate concepts and improve the speed and quality of product execution.
  • Define product success metrics and maintain clear visibility into acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, revenue, reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to investigate ambiguous problems, identify performance anomalies, uncover growth opportunities and make clear recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Own product launches in partnership with Product Marketing and other stakeholders, including positioning, packaging, pricing, rollout planning, customer communication, sales and support readiness, and launch success measurement.
  • Conduct structured post-launch reviews, identify gaps between expected and actual performance, and ensure learnings are incorporated into future product development and launch plans.
  • Drive the adoption and growth of existing products across customer segments, geographies, channels and use cases.
  • Monitor product quality, customer escalations, service performance, bugs and operational risks. Work with Engineering to prioritize issues based on customer impact and define a clear path to resolution.
  • Identify short and medium-term risks to product delivery, adoption or customer experience and proactively develop mitigation plans.
  • Represent Cloudways in strategic customer conversations, roadmap discussions, product discovery sessions and critical product escalations.
  • Independently align stakeholders, resolve ambiguity and make informed product decisions with limited management oversight.
  • Contribute to the broader Cloudways product culture by sharing insights, improving product management practices and helping other Product Managers strengthen their customer, analytics and execution capabilities.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has at least 4 years of Product Management experience, including direct ownership of SaaS products serving a large and diverse customer base.
  • Has successfully led multiple products, product areas or complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
  • Has experience owning products across the full lifecycle, including discovery, strategy, development, launch, adoption, growth and optimization.
  • Demonstrates a strong customer-first mindset and regularly engages directly with customers rather than relying only on second-hand feedback.
  • Has hands-on experience conducting user research, customer interviews, usability testing, market analysis and product discovery.
  • Can combine customer feedback, behavioral data, commercial insights and technical constraints to make clear product decisions.
  • Is highly analytical and comfortable defining product metrics, building funnels, analyzing cohorts, investigating performance changes and translating data into actions.
  • Has an AI-first mindset and practical experience using AI tools to improve product experiences, research, analysis, prototyping or personal productivity.
  • Has strong business acumen and understands how product decisions influence adoption, retention, revenue, support costs, margins and long-term customer value.
  • Has experience working closely with Engineering and UX teams on technically complex products. Experience with cloud infrastructure, hosting, developer platforms, ecommerce, website management or B2B technology products would be valuable.
  • Understands product-led growth and can identify opportunities to improve onboarding, activation, conversion, engagement, monetization and retention.
  • Can lead pricing, packaging and go-to-market discussions in partnership with Product Marketing, Finance and commercial teams.
  • Is comfortable working through ambiguity, challenging assumptions and making accountable decisions without waiting for perfect information.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership, curiosity, sound judgment and a consistent drive to improve the quality and impact of the products they lead.

What We Do

DigitalOcean is the Inference Cloud — a full-stack, production-ready cloud platform built to run AI applications with predictable performance, sustainable economics, and radically simpler operations at scale. We are built for teams turning AI into real products — not just training models. Our advantage is not fewer features, but fewer failure modes when operating AI at scale — combining minimal operational overhead, predictable cost efficiency, and a full-stack cloud that works as a system. Hyperscalers are broad by design. Neoclouds are infrastructure-first. DigitalOcean is inference-first — with a real cloud underneath. It combines inference-optimized compute, managed inference software, and integrated cloud capabilities that reduce operational burden for teams running real workloads. Inference is the foundation—not the boundary. Everything else builds on top of it.

Why Work With Us

At DO, we do career-defining work. We innovate with AI and build cutting-edge tech. Our rewards to match that intensity - to motivate you, recognize your impact, and give you what you need to thrive. If you have a growth mindset, like to think big and bold, and are energized by the fast-paced environment, you'll find your place here.
