Senior Product Manager

Job Duties: Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and technical specifications for private equity fund accounting SaaS platform. Utilize private capital operations and financial services software to inform product strategy, system design, and feature development. Translate complex business requirements into detailed product specifications that specify data models, system architecture constraints, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. Author and maintain technical specifications for calculation logic, error handling patterns, and versioning strategies. Evaluate and make architectural trade-off decisions involving database schema design, data pipeline architecture, and query performance optimization in SQL data stores that underpin core financial calculation engines. Collaborate with a team of software engineers on sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code review discussions to ensure strategic prioritization and accurate implementation of complex backend accounting and financial calculation logic. Define functional and non-functional requirements for React-based frontend applications. Conduct competitive and technical feasibility analyses to evaluate decisions. Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions with engineering leadership to ensure product decisions account for system scalability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and the long-term maintainability of the codebase. Manage end-to-end product lifecycle delivery. Utilize software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and apply agile/scrum development practices. Implement SaaS platform technologies. Apply data analysis techniques using SQL, product analytics tools, and related technologies. Leverage AI-assisted tools, including large language models, for product workflows.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in position offered or related position including experience utilizing software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and applying agile/scrum development practices; implementing SaaS platform technologies; applying data analysis techniques using SQL, product analytics tools, and related technologies; leveraging AI-assisted tools, including large language models, for product workflows; and translating complex business requirements into detailed product specifications. Must also have background in private capital operations and financial services software.

Salary: $195,000 - $205,000
