Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.
What will you contribute?
As Finastra continues to execute on its strategy of restructuring core banking into composable domain services, you will own - as Senior Product Manager, Universal Banking - the evolution of key core banking modules. You will be working closely with the wider product organisation, engineering, implementation, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, high-value product capabilities.
This role bridges product strategy, execution, and customer outcomes, requiring deep collaboration across Payments, Lending, digital channels, and integration ecosystems. You will play a critical role in executing the product direction, ensuring readiness across the product lifecycle - from requirement intake through delivery and adoption.
Key responsibilities & deliverables
1. Product Ownership & Strategy:
Define and drive the roadmap execution to bring together disparate composable banking services aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
Translate strategic objectives into clear product initiatives and deliverables.
Partner with leadership to prioritise investments based on value, risk, and market demand.
2. Requirements & Product Development:
Lead end-to-end requirement analysis, translating both business and technical needs into high-quality functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with engineering team squads to deliver scalable features.
Perform product impact analysis across modules, integrations, and dependent systems.
Decompose complex requirements that impact multiple composable services into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
3. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:
Act as a key liaison across product, engineering, implementation teams, and customers.
Engage with product owners, functional consultants, and client stakeholders across multiple domains to validate requirements and refine solutions.
