Company Description

You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and product lifecycle management of our Point of Sale (POS) and Trade Marketing Materials. These are physical marketing materials used to showcase and sell our products while enhancing brand visibility across a wide range of trade marketing environments. A key focus of this role will be the Event Equipment category, managing the development of impactful assets such as bars, large tents, DJ desks, and other innovative event structures that bring the Red Bull brand to life.

As part of the Global Visibility Items (VISIT) Procurement Product Development team, you will work closely with internal global teams and international suppliers to ensure that all products are developed in line with our internal requirements while meeting the highest standards of compliance, quality, and sustainability.

Job Description

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

You will create project-related briefing documentation and manage the entire tender process, from supplier selection to final decision-making. Working with nominated suppliers, you will follow a structured stage-gate process and oversee the successful execution of product launches. In collaboration with suppliers and internal Quality Management, you will ensure that all products meet compliance requirements, including certifications and product testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and managing product development budgets while supporting local Red Bull entities in co-developing market-specific solutions.

PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

You will oversee your product category from initial market introduction through to phase-out, ensuring an optimal lifecycle strategy. Managing product documentation, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Additionally, you will address quality complaints, driving continuous product improvements where necessary. Within the Material Governance System, you will oversee the creation and maintenance of Product Master Data, ensuring consistency and alignment with procurement standards. You will also approve shipment audit reports following product quality inspections and lead innovation research and feasibility studies to explore new opportunities in product development.

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

You will work closely with procurement teams to identify new supply markets and technologies for POS products. By conducting competitive sourcing exercises for existing products, you will optimize supplier selection and pricing strategies. Your collaboration with procurement will ensure the strategic sourcing of high-quality materials and solutions.

SUSTAINABILITY

A focus on sustainability is essential in this position. You will work on improving existing products and developing new ones with sustainability in mind, considering factors such as product carbon footprint and energy consumption. Your efforts will contribute to Red Bull’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, ensuring that our products not only meet market needs but also adhere to high environmental standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable product development or product management role, ideally within the POS product environment.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; German language skills are a plus.

Strong procurement skills with basic contract management knowledge.

Proven success in managing end-to-end product development projects and leading sustainability optimization initiatives by integrating sustainability principles into product design.

Experience in project and process management, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Strong understanding of structured project management methodologies and the ability to work cross-functionally across different departments.

Expertise in sustainable materials, sustainable product development, or sustainability in design.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for product analysis and reporting; experience with SAP is desirable.

Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced, global organization.

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2691 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
