We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

As a Senior Product Manager for Salesforce’s Developer Site, you will play a critical role in shaping and advancing the digital experience for developers engaging with Salesforce. You will be responsible for building a cohesive strategy for the Developer and Admin Website platform and experiences by prioritizing a multi-year roadmap, and ensuring the site offers substantial value to customers, ISVs, and partners. Your work will focus on enhancing the usability, functionality, and content of the web experience and platform to empower users with a seamless experience that drives engagement and supports adoption of Salesforce’s products.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, Technical Audience Relations, Developer Marketing, Customer Experience (CX) and Trailhead to find opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that address developer needs. You’ll serve as a key subject matter authority guiding project execution from concept to launch with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term business impact. This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence the Salesforce developer and Admin ecosystem and the success of our customers.

A minimum of 36 days/quarter to an eligible work location (San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define and implement a product strategy leading a 1-2 year roadmap aligned with business outcomes and customer value. This includes identifying improvement opportunities based on customer needs, industry trends, and Salesforce's strategic goals, along with onboarding key marketing technologies, including Agentforce based experiences, to the developer web ecosystem.

  • Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to enhance the web experience. This involves collaborating with product leaders to support presentations for industry analysts, reinforcing Salesforce’s developer-first positioning.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver prioritized initiatives, balancing customer value, team health, and business outcomes. This includes defining and tracking success metrics throughout the project lifecycle, proactively addressing execution gaps and conflicts.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Dedicate time to engaging with external collaborators (customers, cross-functional teams, Independent Software Vendors) to align on vision, needs, and shared goals. This involves effective communication with diverse audiences, adapting messages to inspire action and contribute to cloud operations enhancements.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Apply data from various sources (customer feedback, analytics, industry insights) to inform decisions and improve the developer site experience. This includes developing quantitative and qualitative metrics to assess product impact and optimize outcomes by using existing and seeking new data sources.

  • Product Launch and Operational Excellence: Lead smooth, timely launches of features and updates, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, business goals, and technical requirements. This includes quickly addressing escalated issues, working cross-functionally to minimize customer impact and build trust through high-value feature delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of software product management experience with a proven history of product delivery

  • Extensive experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies

  • Practical experience applying digital marketing technologies, including marketing automation, experimentation, personalization, and analytics, to drive business outcomes.

  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including setting and measuring success metrics.

  • Ability to manage competing and evolving priorities effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with both business and technical audiences and create clear documentation and user stories.

  • Experience with developer portals or communities (a plus).

  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team, demonstrate a positive demeanor, and strive for continuous improvement.

  • A related technical degree is required
