Senior Product Manager - Web Platform

We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join us on our mission to save lives by helping us create innovative, compelling, scalable products. As a key member of the DroneSense product team, you will play a crucial role in expanding the DroneSense web-based fleet and program management platform. Public safety agencies throughout the US and across the world depend on this important component of the DroneSense platform to deliver simplicity, security, and transparency.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated proficiency managing products in an Agile software development environment, leading SaaS product launch communications and processes, requirement collection and refinement, design thinking and strong technical acumen. 

What You'll Do:

• Build life-saving software
• Creating a customer-facing smart web app that will help our customers better assess their usability and information about our SaaS product.
• Dig in with customers and their requests to make sure we are solving the right problems
• Feature planning, prioritization, product road mapping 
• Define, deliver and communicate with stakeholders about product changes and feature releases
• Refine requirements so we build it right the first time
• Validate the implementation aligns with the requirements and desired outcomes
• Analyze product patterns and track metrics for success
• Understand and articulate market trends and gaps
• Build and present product documentation and training for new features

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on product management experience in building and delivering successful dynamic web based software products
• Strong interest and/or history in drones and public safety, or a general leaning toward nerdery is very important to this role.
• Experience with customer-facing, data driven smart software applications from design to implementation
• Recent experience working with a SaaS startup at rapid growth stage
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps SDLC models.
• Proven track record of successful product launches in a fast-paced and high growth environment
• Experience building web applications that support multiple platforms and hardware devices
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Proven tack record in stakeholder management and fostering cross-functional relationships internally and externally

Preferred:

• 1+ years of UAS experience
• GIS experience
• Experience building enterprise software
• Public safety experience
