We are looking for a senior product manager to accelerate adoption and growth of Sophos Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), a market-leading protection, detection, and response solution for endpoints and servers. In this role, you will own product strategy, technical product development, and go-to-market execution for Sophos EDR. You will turn market signals, customer needs, threat research, telemetry, and business goals into clear product priorities that help customers hunt, investigate, and respond to advanced threats with speed and confidence.
This is a significant opportunity for an AI-native product manager to apply modern product management skills to expand adoption, improve customer outcomes, and strengthen Sophos EDR’s leadership in the market. Success requires a product leader who can work deeply with engineering and research teams while also building the positioning, packaging, launch strategy, and field enablement needed to grow a proven, market-leading EDR solution.
What You Will Do
- Be the voice of the customer by understanding how IT admins, security analysts, managed service providers, CISOs, and managed security service providers detect, investigate, hunt, respond, report, and prove security outcomes across endpoint and server environments.
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes for Sophos EDR within the Sophos Endpoint portfolio.
- Define the product direction for endpoint detection, threat hunting, investigation, response, case workflows, telemetry, reporting, and upgrade paths into XDR and MDR.
- Partner with Sophos X-Ops, Sophos MDR Ops, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ship EDR capabilities that serve both IT generalists and security analysts.
- Use AI-first product management practices to improve discovery, decision-making, requirements definition, launch readiness, customer insight analysis, and product storytelling.
- Define and prioritize AI-powered EDR experiences such as natural language search, case summaries, command analysis, investigation guidance, analyst assistance, and response recommendations.
- Translate customer research, endpoint telemetry, competitive intelligence, revenue opportunities, and field feedback into product requirements that engineering teams can execute.
- Build go-to-market plans, launch narratives, buyer personas, partner enablement, pricing inputs, and adoption motions that grow Sophos EDR revenue, usage, and market leadership.
- Represent Sophos EDR in customer councils, executive briefings, partner conversations, competitive reviews, analyst discussions, and internal strategy forums.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in cybersecurity, endpoint security, EDR, XDR, MDR, security operations, IT operations, or adjacent technical product areas.
- Demonstrated success taking technical products from strategy through launch, adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of endpoint detection and response workflows, including detections, investigations, threat hunting, response actions, telemetry, reporting, and analyst productivity.
- AI-first product management skills, including practical experience using AI to accelerate discovery, synthesis, prioritization, requirements development, launch planning, customer insight analysis, and product operations.
- Strong fluency across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint platforms for endpoint security outcomes.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering, threat research, security operations, product marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams to define product-market fit and execute go-to-market plans.
- An open mind, strong curiosity, humility, urgency, and sound judgment, with a proven ability to use data, customer insight, and stakeholder input to make clear product decisions.
- Clear executive communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs, customer value, commercial impact, roadmap decisions, and launch priorities in simple language.
