- Lead the development and delivery of the SBB product roadmap aligned with business goals, customer needs, and long-term vision
- Define and launch digital products across areas such as invoicing, payments, cards, cash management, and integrations (e.g. accounting platforms)
- Translate strategic initiatives and customer feedback into clearly scoped product requirements, epics, and user stories
- Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure all experiences align with internal controls and regulatory needs
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver clean, scalable, and intuitive customer journeys
- Prioritize and manage product backlogs for ongoing enhancements, bug fixes, and feature rollouts
- Ensure always-on availability and performance of the SBB platform in alignment with EQ Bank’s 24/7 digital banking model
- Conduct customer discovery, user interviews, and competitive analysis to inform decisions
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate partnerships that extend value for small business customers
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (CX, marketing, legal, etc.) to support product launches and change management activities
- Monitor product metrics, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction to inform continuous improvements
- Facilitate day-to-day problem solving and drive resolution on product or technical blockers
- Represent the SBB product team in scrum ceremonies and cross-functional planning sessions
Let's Talk About You!
- Have 5+ years of product management experience
- Have 2+ years of banking/finance/fintech experience in delivering digital products in an agile environment
- Experience with small business or commercial banking products is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with APIs, core banking systems, and third-party integrations (e.g., accounting, payment processors)
- Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing digital products end-to-end
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and influence without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to make decisions with data and customer insights
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Post-secondary degree in business, technology, or a related field
- Experience in fintech or a Canadian financial institution is an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to balance long-term strategy with near-term delivery
