Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. In this hybrid role, you will report to a Group Product Manager
You will:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Waymo’s AV simulator
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, operations, system engineering and safety experts to define product requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and ML platform teams to ensure successful execution
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the simulator, identifying opportunities to improve realism and efficiency
- Partner with research to build and leverage large-scale foundation models in Simulation
You have:
- BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of relevant product management experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and launching AI/ML powered products or technologies
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
We prefer:
- Experience working on simulation or robotics products
- Developed and leveraged large-scale foundation models
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
