About the Team

The SaaS Apps product line is a significant revenue generator for Druva with massive expansion and growth plans in the near term. With the explosion in AI and the implications for data protection, data governance, identity and security, many key Druva initiatives are being driven out of the SaaS Apps team.  This is a key role with major scope and will provide opportunity for immediate impact and company-wide visibility.  The candidate will gain valuable experience in a hyper-growth startup and develop key career skills on driving a growing product to product-market fit and SaaS go-to-market. 

Role Purpose & Impact 

This is a field and customer-facing product management role which  acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing  product direction and aligning the SaaS roadmap with company objectives.  You will collaborate with our cross-functional customer-facing teams to interact with our growing customer base to understand their data protection, security and governance needs and bring back insights and  ideas for Druva’s roadmap.  

What You’ll Do

  • Explore new product features, concepts and develop comprehensive market/product requirements across SaaS applications
  • Sales, Customer interaction for product demos, roadmap presentations, product feedback and escalations
  • Analyze business metrics to develop insights for product go-to-market activities and execute on them in collaboration with product marketing, sales
  • Work with product managers and product marketing team to build key product marketing collateral and deliver field sales team training
  • Analyze product telemetry to develop insights for product roadmap and drive product adoption
  • Respond to industry analyst questionnaires, surveys and develop analyst facing presentations
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 8+ years of total professional experience building and shipping B2B SaaS products, with at least 5 years of functional product management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, MBA would be a plus
  • Experience working in the data protection domain, particularly in the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Copilot, D365, Intune)
  • Experience with other major SaaS platforms (Google, Salesforce, ServiceNow) a major plus
  • Experience with Identity infrastructure (Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory) a major plus

Highly technical background with an ability to dive deep into products, technology, UX

  • Excellent product sense with an ability/empathy to deeply focus on customer pain points, workflows and an ability to articulate the same
  • Highly analytical with an ability to understand metrics, develop a data driven point-of-view

Excellent PM presence with clear written, verbal communication skills

  • Track record of iterating, taking ownership and driving products from concept to execution
  • Experience working in high growth, startup environments, with a can-do attitude

  • Drive planning and execution of new high-profile products to support revenue growth.
  • Enable the sales and technical sales teams so that they can successfully sell products and deliver maximum ROI for customers
  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of best-practice sharing.
  • Lead the discovery and definition of long-term product strategy, translating market trends and deep customer insights into actionable, multi-quarter roadmaps.
