Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Policies and Settlements domain within Rocket Growth. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will define and execute the product strategy for two critical areas that directly influence seller experience, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy.
You will be responsible for managing complex, high-stakes topics related to settlements, fees, and financial policies—ensuring that Coupang’s business remains profitable while also maintaining a healthy and viable ecosystem for sellers. This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems, pricing models, and operational trade-offs, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the long-term vision for Policies and Settlements, ensuring alignment with Rocket Growth’s strategic objectives.
- Profitability & Viability: Design and optimize fee structures and settlement mechanisms that balance Coupang’s financial goals with seller sustainability and competitiveness.
- Execution & Delivery: Own the product roadmap, prioritize features based on business impact, and lead cross-functional teams through execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, legal, and customer service teams to deliver seamless and compliant solutions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data to uncover insights, define KPIs, and measure product performance. Conduct A/B testing and post-launch analysis.
- Customer Obsession: Deeply understand seller and customer pain points to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior PMs, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy, fintech, pricing, or revenue management.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling complex products in ambiguous environments.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large datasets and presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills—able to influence and align stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from a top-tier business school.
- Experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, or logistics.
- Bilingual in Korean and English.
- Strong bias for action and a results-driven mindset.
