Sydecar is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead our mission of enabling thousands of new investors to do what they do best — identify and back entrepreneurs who are changing the world.

As the product owner for our Platform Team, you’ll take the reins on one of the most foundational areas of our business—owning the infrastructure that powers all of Sydecar’s products and user experiences. This is a rare opportunity to shape the internal engine of a fast-growing startup, driving critical systems that enable scalability, reliability, and innovation across the entire platform.

From banking and currency infrastructure to operations tooling, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, internal teams, and key stakeholders to define and execute a roadmap that sets the stage for long-term growth.

• Leverage your track record as a product leader who’s partnered with design and engineering on complex software solutions. You’ll take ownership of Sydecar’s core engine—the financial foundation that powers all of our products—and guide its evolution.

• Build internal tools and infrastructure that support critical workflows, including multi-currency support, banking integrations, and admin tools.

• Own the Platform Team’s roadmap, leading strategic planning across four quarters by aligning priorities, resources, and strategic goals.

• Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders—including executives, functional leaders, and clients—by clearly communicating product strategies, priorities, and ensuring alignment around the roadmap and its rationale.

• Proven experience as a Product Manager working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver complex software solutions, with ownership of major components in financial systems.

• Deep expertise in fintech or financial services, particularly in domains like ledgers, integrations, compliance, data architecture, and transactions—ideally within high-compliance, regulated industries.

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience; ideally in fintech or financial services.

• A clear communicator who excels at communicating with senior executives, breaking down complex ideas into clear, concise points that enable confident decision-making.

• A proven ability to strategically prioritize and deliver a product roadmap over multiple quarters that drives real business results.

• A proven ability to remove, go around, go over, or go through obstacles to drive projects to timely success and deliver business outcomes.

• A data-driven thinker who’s passionate about using data and user feedback to validate product ideas and continuously measure impact.

• A systems thinker and detail-oriented executor who grasps both the big picture and its components, anticipates edge cases, and tackles problem-solving with thoroughness and precision.

• A process-driven professional who applies best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in execution.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

• If you have experience with, or knowledge of, alternative investments, fund accounting, or private markets transactions.

• If you have prior experience working with APIs.
