About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead payments growth and expansion by bringing new payment capabilities to market across new corridors, new use cases, and external partners. This role owns merchant driven payment use cases, remittance, and cross border payments end to end, from partner strategy through to scalable operations. You will be accountable for measurable growth outcomes including new customer acquisition, increased transaction volume and spend, and revenue uplift, while ensuring the operating model remains workable with risk, compliance, and operations.

What you will do

  • Own the payments expansion roadmap across merchant driven payment use cases, remittance, and cross border payments, including corridor expansion and new use cases across both retail and business customers.
  • Identify and prioritise high impact payment use cases, define the customer value proposition, and deliver an end-to-end experience that is fast, clear, and reliable.
  • Define partner strategy and lead end to end partner selection, due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
  • Lead commercials and contracting, including pricing models, unit economics, incentives, and commercial governance with partners.
  • Drive scheme and network requirements, ensure readiness across compliance, operational, and technical obligations, and manage delivery milestones.
  • Design and operationalise the operating model, including settlement, reconciliation, refunds, disputes, and exception handling, with clear ownership across teams.
  • Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Operations, Finance, Design and Engineering to ensure controls are effective, scalable, and minimally disruptive to the customer experience.
  • Build business cases and delivery plans for new corridors, new partners, and new payment capabilities, with clear success metrics and launch criteria.
  • Run a strong growth and optimisation cadence, improve conversion and repeat usage, and lift transaction volume and revenue through product improvements, pricing, and partner levers.
  • Define payment UX standards and guardrails, ensure consistency across flows, and drive reductions in payment friction, failed transactions, and support contacts.

What we are looking for

  • 4 to 6 plus years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership in payments, remittance, cross border payments, acquiring, wallets, or large scale consumer platforms with embedded payments.
  • Experience shipping payment products across both retail and business use cases, with clear examples of trade offs, execution, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of payment rails and operating mechanics, including settlement, reconciliation, refunds, disputes, and risk controls.
  • Strong payment user experience sense, able to design flows that are simple, trustworthy, and resilient under real world edge cases.
  • Proven ability to drive growth outcomes, with examples tied to acquisition, transaction volume, conversion, retention, and revenue.
  • Strong partner management experience, including evaluation, onboarding, commercials negotiation, and joint roadmap delivery.
  • Comfortable working cross functionally with Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Engineering, and driving alignment through clear trade offs.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to build business cases, pricing and margin views, and dashboards to manage performance.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching cross border payments in specific corridors, or scaling merchant driven use cases across key partner ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with scheme requirements and network certifications, or working directly with payment networks and processors.
  • Experience with dispute and complaint handling frameworks, and operating models for payment support.
