Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to define and drive the future of NXP’s NFC Wireless Charging portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of technology innovation, customer engagement, ecosystem leadership, and business strategy. You will own product direction from concept to market success, translating market opportunities, customer requirements, and technology trends into differentiated products that create sustainable competitive advantage.

As a key member of the product management organization, you will lead cross-functional teams across R&D, system architecture, applications, marketing, sales, and operations while engaging directly with global customers and ecosystem partners. You will play a critical role in defining roadmap priorities, driving portfolio growth, and accelerating NFC Wireless Charging adoption across emerging and established markets.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy, Definition & Lifecycle
  • Define and own product strategy for NFC Wireless Charging solutions aligned with customers, business objectives and long-term market opportunities. 
  • Drive product requirements and platform direction based on customer needs, ecosystem evolution, competitive positioning, and technology trends.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions balancing customer value, technical feasibility, development investment, and time-to-market
  • Lead product definition activities across hardware, RF, firmware, software, security, and system-level architectures.
  • Own product lifecycle management from concept through launch, ramp, optimization, and end-of-life.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and product positioning that translate technical capabilities into measurable customer benefits.
  • Drive business growth through differentiated product offerings and portfolio expansion.
Roadmap, Innovation & Differentiation
  • Own and drive the NFC Wireless Charging product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technology evolution, and business priorities.
  • Identify and champion breakthrough opportunities that create sustainable competitive differentiation.
  • Bring fresh thinking from hardware, RF, embedded systems, or customer applications.
  • Shape future product platforms and technology investments through deep understanding of market requirements and ecosystem developments.
  • Lead strategic assessments of emerging technologies, standards, and industry trends.
  • Influence ecosystem direction through engagement with standards bodies, technology partners, and strategic customers.
  • Develop technology and product strategies that strengthen NXP's leadership position in wireless power and NFC-enabled solutions
Customer, Ecosystem & Use Case Understanding
  • Lead strategic customer engagements to understand emerging requirements, design challenges, and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Build trusted relationships with key customers, ecosystem partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable product strategies and investment decisions.
  • Identify new use cases, market opportunities, and growth vectors for NFC Wireless Charging technologies.
  • Represent NXP externally at customer, industry, and ecosystem engagements.
  • Drive ecosystem enablement strategies that accelerate adoption and market expansion.
Cross-Functional Product Execution
  • Lead cross-functional product teams across product management, architecture, R&D, applications, marketing, quality, operations, and sales.
  • Drive product execution from concept through commercialization while balancing technical, customer, and business priorities.
  • Establish priorities and decision frameworks that align investment with strategic objectives.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels without direct authority.
  • Ensure successful product launches through alignment of customer enablement, documentation, applications support and go-to-market activities.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, and business rationale to executive leadership and cross-functional teams. 
Market & Competitive Insight
  • Own market analysis, competitive positioning, and portfolio strategy for NFC Wireless Charging solutions.
  • Develop business cases that support investment decisions, product prioritization, and roadmap evolution.
  • Monitor market performance, customer adoption, design-win progress, and competitive dynamics.
  • Define and track key business metrics to measure product success and portfolio growth.
  • Influence strategic investment decisions through data-driven market and financial analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, market share expansion, and ecosystem leadership.
Your ProfileExperience
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, system architecture, applications engineering, technical marketing, or related semiconductor leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving product strategy, roadmap definition, and cross-functional execution.
  • Experience working directly with customers and translating market requirements into successful products.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management within semiconductor, wireless power, NFC, IoT, or secure embedded markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across engineering, business, and customer organizations.
  • Experience developing business cases, product strategies, and market positioning is highly desirable.
Technical Background
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, RF, Microelectronics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware, RF, embedded systems, or system-level product development.
  • Experience or strong interest in NFC/contactless systems, RF design or antenna systems, Power management architectures or Wireless power ecosystems.
  • Hardware and RF experience in NFC and/or Wireless power is especially valuable.
