Job Title
Senior Product Manager, Menu ExperienceWhat does a Senior Product Manager do at Clover?
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Menu experience — the core system that determines how users discover, browse, and select items at checkout. You'll drive the strategy, UX, and underlying architecture that shapes this critical part of the product, working closely with engineering, design, and merchant-facing teams.
What you will do:
Define and own the product strategy for menu discovery and item selection, aligned with broader business goals
Lead end-to-end UX for menu flows, both single and multi-location restaurant operators
Partner with engineering to design a scalable menu architecture (data models, item hierarchies, modifiers, variants) that supports diverse merchant needs
Translate merchant and end-user research into a prioritized roadmap
Define success metrics and use data to guide iteration
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, sales, and support to ship and scale features
Balance flexibility for merchants (custom menus, modifiers, pricing rules) with simplicity for end users
Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
What you need to have:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in POS, e-commerce, marketplace, or ordering systems
Proven experience owning both UX and technical architecture decisions
Strong analytical skills — comfortable defining metrics and using data to prioritize
Experience working with complex data structures (catalogs, taxonomies, item relationships)
Excellent collaboration skills across design, engineering, and business teams
Track record of shipping and iterating on high-traffic, user-facing features
What is nice to have:
Experience in restaurant tech, retail tech, or hospitality
Familiarity with menu/catalog systems at scale (multi-location, multi-language, multi-currency)
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
