We build products that help entrepreneurs stand out and succeed.
The Role

At Squarespace we empower our product teams to solve hard problems – customer and business problems – in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. As a Product Manager, you will contribute to your product team with a knowledge of business constraints, an understanding of our users, and awareness of product trends.

Within our Marketing Tools group, the Automations team helps customers connect with their audiences through intuitive, trigger-based email workflows. Whether it's a welcome message, an abandoned cart reminder, or a seasonal promotion, we make it easy for users to reach the right person at the right time—with minimal effort.

As a Product Manager on this team, you will craft the strategy and tactical roadmap that puts the user experience first and drives towards our shared Commerce and company goals. You have an interest in Marketing, automated systems, and building products that have revenue driving ability.

This is a role based in our Dublin office. You'll report to the Director of Marketing tools, lead the Automations team and work alongside a collaborative, high-performing team.

You'll Get To…
  • Create and prioritize a roadmap rooted in data, informed by multiple sources and justified by return on investment
  • Guide product development—from conception to launch—with consideration for more than just your specific team, but also adjacent teams and the broader Marketing Tools group.
  • Be a single, mutually supporting-force with your partners in design, engineering, UX research, and product analytics
  • Partner with internal teams to launch new features, with customer operations to develop excellent support for merchants, and with analytics to monitor engagement and evaluate product success
  • Independently shape your team's goals and vision given a strategic direction, and determine the methods and procedures to manage new assignments
  • Work with other PMs and data partners (analytics, data science, marketing) to seek out answers to data questions that impact multiple teams
  • Contribute to OKRs, team and product strategy, vision, and roadmap
  • Influence and inform team/group strategy through passionate and well-reasoned presentation of ideas
Who We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of product management experience within a Marketing industry, but not required.
  • A nuanced understanding of the methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, and user segmentation
  • Ability to take a vague problem, research and prepare a compelling proposal for action that will drive key outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-team research studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to align different teams around achieving business goals and outstanding user experiences
  • A solid understanding of revenue driving products and services
