Beyond, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our marketing technology stack across Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, and buybuy BABY. This role is central to enabling repeat purchases, customer loyalty, and long-term profitability through smarter, more personalized marketing.

As a Strategic Product Leader, you will own the roadmap for MarTech capabilities spanning email, push, in-app messaging, audience segmentation, content personalization, and experimentation tooling. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, marketing, analytics, AI/ML, and external vendors to create the levers and infrastructure that help our teams deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time.

Base Pay Range:

$124,000 - $145,000

Responsibilities:

Priorities: Business Impact & Strategic Focus

  • Drive initiatives that improve customer retention, LTV, and profitability through targeted and timely customer engagement.
  • Prioritize projects that balance short-term marketing agility with long-term platform scalability and tech debt reduction.
  • Establish clear success metrics tied to business outcomes: conversion rates, engagement, frequency of purchase, and opt-in retention.
     

Process: Building Efficient, Scalable Workflows

  • Define and document martech workflows across campaign operations, audience segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Partner with Engineering and AI/ML teams to automate content delivery and decision-making using machine learning and generative AI.
  • Implement and evolve data- and content-related processes that support dynamic campaign personalization at scale.
     

Platforms: Vendor Strategy, AI, and Migration Management

  • Own platform evaluations and decisions as we shift from custom-built tools to best-in-class vendors like Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink, and Google Gemini.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to design modular, extensible solutions that future-proof our MarTech stack.
  • Lead platform migrations and manage a backlog of technical debt, deprecations, and upgrades with a strategic lens.
     

People: Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML Engineering, Merchandising, and Brand.
  • Act as the voice of product in high-stakes conversations; listen deeply, synthesize feedback, and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Influence without authority by leading through clarity, transparency, and outcome-driven decision-making.
  • Stay organized while fielding inbound requests from across the company—understanding when to say “yes,” “no,” or “not yet.”

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in e-commerce, ad tech, or martech.
  • Proven track record building or evolving marketing platforms, personalization engines, or campaign operations tooling.
  • Deep understanding of marketing workflows, including content authoring, audience segmentation, testing, and orchestration.
  • Experience with Braze, Salesforce, Movable Ink, Google Gemini, CDPs, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML technologies and how they can be used to optimize content delivery, segmentation, and performance.
  • Strong data acumen—able to define KPIs, interpret dashboards, and partner with analysts to drive decisions.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and cross-functional execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale platform migrations or vendor transitions.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for subject line testing, creative scaling, or campaign analysis.
  • Comfortable navigating strong personalities and conflicting priorities with empathy and clarity.
  • BA/BS preferred; technical or analytical background preferred.

Physical Requirements:


This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
