About Kindsight:

Kindsight delivers what has never been possible in the nonprofit world: A Fundraising Platform that incorporates big data, AI, and automation to power modern fundraising. Kindsight’s Fundraising Platform combines a CRM (Ascend) tailored for vertical specific nonprofits like universities, healthcare and art institutions with the most comprehensive real time donor intelligence (iWave) and AI-assisted automations. Kindsight empowers nonprofit, education, and healthcare organizations to maximize their impact, driving productivity and effectiveness to have the right conversation with the right donor, at the right time—every time.

As we look to the future, our integration strategy is central to our growth, and we are looking for a visionary product leader to shape and drive our product strategy for integrations within the Kindsight ecosystem. Our vision is to have a robust ecosystem of partners that are integrating with our iWave solution and our CRM solutions–Ascend, AdvRM, and the Fundraising Platform. We are a mission driven company that is passionate about helping nonprofits change the world by driving high impact innovation in a space that’s ready for transformation.

Position Summary:

As the Product Manager for Integrations, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for integrations across our full product portfolio, including iWave and our CRM solutions. Your work will encompass both partner-driven integrations with Kindsight and strategic integrations we identify as critical to our growth. To be effective in today’s tech ecosystem, we must build directly with partners and enable other technology firms to leverage our software developer toolkits (SDKs) to easily integrate their products with ours. This role is pivotal, sitting at the intersection of technology, product innovation, and social impact.

You’ll be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities to further the integration capabilities within the suite of Kindsight products, delivering features that help nonprofits fundraise smarter and work more efficiently. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and our nonprofit customers to bring compelling solutions to market—solutions that our customers love and that are responsible, ethical, and mission-aligned.

What You’ll Do:

  • Craft the Integration Vision & Strategy: Shape and advocate for a forward-looking product vision that aligns with company priorities and is grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs. The strategy will focus on building a seamless, scalable platform that enables third parties to integrate with us easily and effectively.
  • Engage with Customers: Collaborate with users to deeply understand their needs, translate them into product opportunities, and validate ideas and concepts. Act as the voice of the users, ensuring their needs are considered in product development.
  • Own the Product Roadmap: Responsible for crafting an integration strategy and a product roadmap that aligns with the broader team and company goals and making trade-off decisions that maximize value.  Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Champion a data-informed approach to investment decisions, aligning roadmap features with revenue, retention, and profitability targets.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Develop clear and actionable product specifications, collaborating with Design, Engineering and 3rd party teams to ensure alignment. Partner with Engineering to create robust technical plans, improve development speed, and resolve execution challenges. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align product development with customer and business objectives.
  • Partner with Third Parties: Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with integration partners to deliver solutions that create value for all Kindsight customers. Strengthen and expand our ecosystem of partners to drive long-term success.
  • Deliver Outcomes: Define and track key product success metrics, iterating based on data and customer feedback.
  • Communicate & Inspire: Develop and maintain a winning product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with senior leaders and stakeholders. Maintain the product backlog and roadmap, and present product status updates to leadership.

About You - Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in a product role, ideally with B2B and enterprise-facing products. Demonstrated commitment to continuous product improvement and optimizing for a portfolio of releases. Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Scrum principles and backlog management.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.  Knowledge of API design and documentation, SDKs, developer platforms, app stores, authentication, license key management, error handling and other technology associated with integration implementations.
  • Strategic Thinker: You see the big picture and can connect the dots between emerging integration capabilities and customer value.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on articulating customer problems and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding and serving nonprofit customers, with a deep sense of empathy and mission alignment.
  • Execution-Oriented: You know how to move from strategy to shipped product, with a strong focus on outcomes and learning. Experience managing external partnerships and integrations. Ability to work autonomously and take on significant responsibility.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Salesforce APIs and/or integration with third party CRMs and Donor Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with database and data management -  My SQL, Postgres, schema design
  • Knowledge of data formats and transformation - JSON, CSV, XML, data normalization, API payload mapping

Compensation Range: $105k - $140k CAD OTE annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
