Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Senior Product Manager, Innovation & Design (multiple openings) in New York, NY to

  • Lead the product strategy, innovation, and user experience for the payment platform.
  • Direct a product strategy from product conception and definition through implementation.
  • Identify new business/market opportunities and create appropriate business plans.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
  • These projects include determining the problem space, target segments, requirements, and key partners to validate use cases for embedded financial offerings and inform go/no-go product execution decision.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Technology teams to understand product requirements.
  • Define acceptance criteria for requirements.
  • Participate and provide business input to the AI design and technology discussions.
  • Position reports to the New York, NY office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a product manager or software engineer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in a product manager or software engineer-related occupation.
  • Product Management experience in developing product roadmap and defining product requirements that meet client and market needs;
  • Financial service or payment experience;
  • Understanding trends and client needs, and bringing a new product to market;
  • Developing a product strategy and roadmap;
  • Defining and monitoring key product success metrics and operational targets;
  • Conducting market analysis and consumer research;
  • Agile Methodology and knowledge of Scrum practice;
  • Performing technical analysis to understand the technology stack incorporated in a product; and
  • Working cross-functionally with Technology, Data Science and other Product teams to prioritize and develop key product features.

Additional Information

Worksite: New York, NY

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $159,100.00 USD to $254,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
