About the Role
This role supports the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of GTT’s Hybrid Cloud and Managed Cloud Services, spanning edge cloud, private cloud, managed public cloud, and professional services. The role combines strong technical understanding of cloud services with commercial and market-driven product insights, working closely with product engineering, operations, sales, to deliver competitive GTT cloud services.
What you'll be doing:
Help define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Hybrid and Managed Cloud Services across edge, private, and public cloud.
Lead the development of Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), translating market, customer, and commercial needs into clear technical and business requirements.
Product lead matrix organisations, working closely with architecture, engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and partners.
Drive the commercial success of cloud services
Help shape and drive GTT’s cloud portfolio in alignment with the Envision platform and broader GTT services.
Work with Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), identify and understand Hyperscaler solutions in relevance to GTT and the managed services ecosystem.
Enable sales and solutions teams with positioning, value propositions, and product guidance, support key bids and strategic accounts.
Represent GTT in customer engagements, analyst briefings, and industry forums.
What we are looking for:
Essential Experience/Qualifications:
Proven experience in product or service portfolio roles within telecom, managed services, or cloud service providers.
Strong understanding of hybrid cloud managed public cloud, IaaS/PaaS, containers, virtualization, and managed services operating models.
Strong understanding of networking and security for cloud services, including resilience and disaster recovery.
Strong understanding of data services, including backup, databases, and data security.
Ability to balance technical depth and commercial decision-making, including cloud cost models and sizing.
Hands-on experience writing clear, structured PRDs for both customer-facing and engineering audiences.
Strong product lifecycle management capability.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across senior technical and commercial teams.
Comfortable engaging with enterprise customers and senior internal leadership.
Preferred Degrees (Bachelor’s or Master’s): Engineering, IT, Telecoms, Network/Systems Engineer
Relevant Degrees to be considered: Business Administration / Management / Engineering Management, Digital Transformation / Technology Management
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, ITIL, TOGAF, FinOps)
Other Relevant technical or product management training & certifications
Experience working with hyperscalers, system integrators, or managed service providers.
Exposure to enterprise customers and cloud transformation programmes.
Experience in quote-to-cash processes and service monetisation models.
