Job Description:

Senior Product Manager – Dental Insurance - Fixed Term Contract

Manchester M50 3SP, London EC2R 7HJ, Leeds LS5 3BF, Staines TW18 3DZ - flexible, hybrid

Fixed Term 6 months

Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary £66200 - £82700 pro rata, depending on experience

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • Identification, delivery, and exploitation of synergies with Bupa Dental Centres (BDC) as a UPS, to drive customer volume and revenue for BDC. 
  • Take responsibility for the P&L of the dental portfolio, ensuring it delivers value for customers and the business.
  • Defining strategy and delivering product & process change across the customer journey from acquisition, servicing, claiming through to retention to improve customer experience and outcomes, drive volumes, and achieve P&L targets.
  • Leverage your expertise on product, market, and competitor performance within the product portfolios, using a combination of internal (price, product, promotion, and place) and external (customer needs, legislation, economic climate, and competition) data to manage and develop our products in the UK marketplace, across the products’ lifecycle and all routes to market. 
  • Drive business readiness plans for wider Bupa changes to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

You

  • Impressive Product Management experience gained within Financial Services
  • Able to hit the ground running with a proven track record in delivering change programmes / projects in a multi-functional environment through sound planning and project-based methodology skills
  • Experience of effective process-improvement management
  • Adept at implementing people and process change and digital solutions, collaborating strongly with internal and external partners
  • Brilliant relationship management, liaising with third party suppliers’ key decision makers and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Credibility and confidence to influence decisions at all levels.
  • Able to apply market knowledge and insights, along with personal experience into development of ambitious customer propositions for CDTI
  • A focus on the ‘big picture’ and able to make strategically important decisions within agreed parameters without referral
  • Ability to understand the UK Dental markets and anticipate change and react and plan strategically in response
  • Sound knowledge of ICOBs, PRIN, FCA complaint handling requirements, T&C principles, and FOS rules
  • Ability to construct and track spend across budgets
