Our dedication to Diversity, Equity, Belonging & Sustainability has been celebrated with industry recognition, reflecting our commitment to fostering an inclusive and sustainable workplace.

About the Role

J.Crew Group is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end digital experience on jcrew.com. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for defining and delivering the product roadmap across core site experiences — from browse and discovery through checkout and post-purchase. You will work at the intersection of customer experience, technology, and business performance, partnering closely with engineering, UX, analytics, merchandising, and marketing to build a best-in-class eCommerce experience for one of America's most iconic fashion brands.

This role sits at the heart of J.Crew's digital transformation — driving measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and revenue through disciplined product thinking, relentless prioritization, and a deep understanding of our customer.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the product roadmap for jcrew.com — defining priorities that balance customer needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility
  • Translate digital strategy into a clear, sequenced backlog of initiatives with well-defined success criteria
  • Drive alignment across UX, engineering, analytics, merchandising, and marketing stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the current site experience through data, customer research, competitive analysis, and cross-functional input

Site Experience & Conversion

  • Own core site experiences including product discovery (PLP, PDP, search, navigation), checkout, and post-purchase flows
  • Drive conversion rate optimization through structured A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and iterative feature development
  • Partner with UX and creative teams to define and deliver experiences that are both high-converting and on-brand
  • Monitor site health and performance metrics daily — identify friction points and drive rapid resolution

Personalization & Data

  • Champion personalization initiatives across the site — working with engineering and analytics to surface the right product, content, and experiences for each customer
  • Define the data and event instrumentation needed to measure feature performance and customer behavior accurately
  • Partner with the analytics team to build dashboards and reporting cadences that keep the team informed and accountable

Execution & Delivery

  • Write clear, well-scoped product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria — bridging strategy and engineering without losing either
  • Work closely with engineering in an agile environment — own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across concurrent workstreams
  • Communicate progress, results, and learnings to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and data-driven way
What You Bring
  • 5–8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in eCommerce or DTC digital products
  • Proven track record of owning and shipping high-impact features in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Deep familiarity with eCommerce fundamentals: conversion funnels, site search, PLP/PDP optimization, checkout, and post-purchase experience
  • Strong data instincts — you're comfortable in analytics tools (GA4, Looker, or similar) and make decisions grounded in evidence, not intuition alone
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and a structured approach to experimentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can align senior leaders and work effectively with engineers and designers
  • Understanding of front-end and back-end eCommerce architecture — you don't need to write code, but you need to speak the language
  • Experience with personalization platforms, recommendation engines, or CDP tooling a strong plus
  • Fashion, retail, or lifestyle brand experience preferred — you understand how the J.Crew customer shops and what earns her loyalty
Why J.Crew Group
  • Own the digital experience for one of the most recognizable fashion brands in the U.S. — with real scope, real impact, and direct access to senior leadership
  • Be part of a digital transformation that spans personalization, AI search, identity, and CRM — this role is central to it
  • Work with a tight-knit, ambitious digital team that moves fast and cares deeply about the craft
  • Competitive compensation, generous associate discount across J.Crew and Madewell, and a hybrid schedule from our New York City HQ

We welcome you to apply, even if you don't check all the boxes. Our passion is scouting life-long learners who are driven by curiosity, and who feel connected to our brands and share our desire to make an impact. We’re always seeking bright new talent who leverage their unique experiences to discover, grow and evolve with our teams.

Note: Availability of these benefits and perks may be subject to work location & employment type and may have certain eligibility requirements.

Salary Range: $136,000.00 - $175,500.00
