Position Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead product strategy and roadmap development for the organization's Epic electronic health record (EHR) platform and integrated clinical informatics tools. Specifically, you will own product requirements for efax domain, which includes but is not limited to, optimizing efficiency for the centralized medical records team, processing of and access to clinical documentation and medical records, order management etc. These services are critical for ensuring our providers have visibility to the latest inbound documents that are used in diagnosing and patient care coordination. You’ll apply deep Epic platform expertise, user-centric design, and agile methodologies to drive adoption, quality, and safety across enterprise informatics initiatives to improve healthcare delivery for our patients.
What You'll DoResponsible for defining the product vision and strategic direction for your Epic Domain, ensuring continuous alignment with senior business and engineering leaders. You'll translate high-level business goals into a clear, actionable product strategy that are tied to OKRs.
Partner with business stakeholders to define the product roadmap, overseeing day-to-day backlog management and prioritization to ensure alignment with your strategic vision. You will assess value and develop business cases to inform the nature and scope of new initiatives. This includes evaluating buy vs. build opportunities and identifying opportunities to scale products to multiple business units
Coordinate with talented technical partners from engineering, data science, and user design in a fast-paced, agile environment to build and enhance products. Your role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, fostering a collaborative and productive atmosphere.
Work alongside our design team to design high-quality, intuitive products for our end-users. This involves user research, gathering and documenting detailed product requirements and ensuring the final product meets user needs and expectations.
Define and manage the launch of new products, including working with our operations teams to create training materials and documentation for end-users. You will also continuously identify and act on opportunities for product improvement through quantitative analysis and user feedback.
Delivers executive-level reporting on product status, risks, and decisions needed, and builds strong relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
Develops testing procedures and governance for onsite, monthly, and quarterly Epic assessments, with detailed documentation review.
Partners with training and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and feedback loops for Epic-based product releases.
Supports approval of product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps to maintain delivery speed and quality across Epic initiatives.
Support the domain leaders in recruiting, hiring, and developing product and informatics talent in a collaborative, fast-paced, global environment to instill industry-proven best practices.
Required Qualifications
7–10 years of relevant work experience in product management and/or healthcare informatics
Deep Epic expertise, including hands-on experience managing, configuring, or overseeing Epic software, modules, and tools within a healthcare enterprise.
BS in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
Experience building and launching AI products
Proven Leader: Comfortable driving strategic decisions, taking ownership, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project outcomes
Highly Collaborative: Excel at working with senior-level stakeholders and can translate complex technical topics for a variety of audiences
Data-Driven Mindset: Use data to measure product impact and work with analytics teams to evaluate success
Skilled in change management and driving user adoption of clinical technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Epic certification(s) in one or more modules relevant to the role (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Beacon, Willow, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, HIM, MyChart, Beaker, Welcome Kiosk, Rover, Haiku, EpicCare Link, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Bridges, Reporting Workbench, Orders).
Experience in Value Based Care and Medicare/Medicare Advantage
Experience in healthcare, digital health solutions and/or EHR integrations
Subject matter expertise in electronic fax, medical record management, order management
4+ years as a Product Manager
Experience with data analytics and core healthcare metrics
Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful and quantifiable impact to the business
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
