About the Team

The Developer Experience team owns the internal developer platform that enables every engineer at CoreWeave to build and ship software fast and confidently. Our scope spans the full product development lifecycle (PDLC), including local developer tooling, build-infrastructure, test systems, delivery workflows, and agentic AI capabilities that are redefining how engineers move from idea to production. We operate at the scale of one of the world’s largest AI-native clouds, which means our build, test, and delivery systems must handle extreme throughput, heterogeneous workloads, and the reliability demands of an infrastructure platform critical to thousands of customers.

About the Role

Developer productivity measures how quickly and efficiently our developers can ship value while maintaining a high quality bar. This means recognizing that it’s not about individual output, but the entire value stream from idea to product. With CoreWeave's rapid growth, developer productivity has become a critical enabler for our ability to keep innovating at the speed we're known for.

As AI capabilities advance, traditional developer productivity bottlenecks are shifting. Every tool, agent, and model involved from idea to product emits data. As Senior Product Manager - Developer Productivity, your goal is to make sense of that data and turn it into the intelligence that drives the roadmap for our internal developer platform. Instrumenting the full PDLC lets us make informed investment decisions about untapped AI opportunities and the need for stronger guardrails.

This role sits in the Developer Experience product management team and offers a unique opportunity to grow your product skills while working with data at the scale of CoreWeave's entire engineering organization. It requires a deep understanding of how developers work, combined with hands-on experience in data science and data analytics. You are expected to pro-actively identify data sources, build out dashboards and independently design and run evaluation for AI impact on developer productivity that inform the strategy for our internal Agentic Engineering Platform.

What You'll Do
  • Develop a deep understanding of CoreWeave developer personas, developer journeys and their tooling ecosystem.
  • Define measurement frameworks for developer productivity and AI-impact, including leading and lagging indicators without losing sight of business outcomes.
  • Identify and prioritize data sources and metrics to provide insights that inform the right investments in the AI-enabled PDLC, making trade-offs between cost, quality and speed.
  • Design, implement and socialize dashboards that enable engineering leadership to answer developer productivity questions in a self-serve way.
  • Independently design, implement and execute AI evaluations that measure AI effectiveness across the PDLC and surface untapped opportunities.
  • Own the overall vision and strategy for the internal Agentic Engineering Platform in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Partner with engineers to execute the strategy and implement feedback loops, using data to validate developer productivity impact.
  • Collaborate closely with neighbouring teams such as Data Engineering, IT, Obvervability, Production Engineering, and Security.
  • Act as developer productivity champion, presenting your insights to senior leadership and getting buy-in for new developer platform- and AI investments.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in product management for developer platforms, developer tooling, infrastructure, or closely related technical products.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics, including building data products that provide actionable insights with organizational-wide impact.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Solid understanding of the modern PDLC, version control, CI/CD, code review, testing, and deployment, and the friction points that slow teams down at each stage.
  • Practical experience with AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools, with informed views on where they create leverage and where they introduce risk.
  • Proven ability to form hypotheses in ambiguous problem spaces and test them through rigorous experiments built in SQL, Python, or similar.
  • Proficiency in turning raw data into compelling stories through visuals, dashboards, and reports tailored to the audience at hand.
  • A data-informed approach to sizing opportunities and prioritizing them by business impact, drawing on both quantitative and qualitative signals.
  • Demonstrated ownership, articulating a problem clearly, partnering with engineers to define a solution, and driving it to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to translate technical problems and opportunities to business impact and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence without authority, build cross-functional consensus, and secure organizational buy-in.
  • Previous experience with semantic modeling (e.g. Looker, Malloy, Omni) preferred.
