We are looking for a Product Manager – Custody Platform & Settlements to own the product development of Crypto Finance's institutional digital asset custody & settlement platform, the system of record that clients trust to hold, settle, and account for their assets accurately, every day. You will work out what to build, why, and in what order, translating operational pain and institutional client requirements into shipped products, and measuring success by platform reliability, operational efficiency, and client growth. You will work closely with engineering, operations, trading, finance, legal, compliance, and commercial teams to keep the platform correct, scalable, and easy to build on. This role sits at the intersection of product, digital asset custody, and regulated financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the backlog for the custody & settlement platform, balancing reliability, operational efficiency, business and client needs.
  • Discovery & requirements: Work with operations, trading, finance, and institutional clients to uncover the real problems, and turn them into clear requirements for engineering.
  • Operational efficiency: Prioritize automation of manual back-office processes to improve turnaround, reduce risk, and lower operating cost.
  • Platform scalability & reuse: Drive the platform toward modular, reusable services so new products and client setups can be delivered faster and more consistently.
  • Client-facing product work: Shape how institutional clients integrate and onboard, and feed client feedback and competitive gaps back into the roadmap.
  • Delivery partnership: Work with engineering across the full lifecycle: scoping, trade-offs, release readiness, and validation.
  • Stakeholder alignment: Keep engineering, trading, operations, commercial, finance, and delivery partners aligned on what is being built and why.
  • Regulatory-aware decisions: Make product choices that hold up under the security, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to regulated securities dealers and custodians (e.g., DORA, FINMA, BaFin, MiCAR).
  • Measure & iterate: Define and track the metrics that matter: reliability, operational efficiency, onboarding time, client adoption, and use them to steer the roadmap.

Requirements
    • 5+ years in product management, ideally owning a platform, ledger, settlement, custody, payments, or core-banking product within financial services or fintech.
    • Proven track record taking products from discovery through delivery, with measurable outcomes.
    • Strong grasp of ledger and reconciliation concepts: positions, balances, and how transactions flow into finance and reporting systems.
    • Comfort with API-based platforms and integrations (e.g., FIX, REST, WebSocket) - enough to reason about them, not necessarily to build them.
    • Ability to work fluently with both engineering and business or operations stakeholders, and to translate between them.
    • Proficiency with backlog and product tooling (Jira preferred).
    • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial markets (e.g., DORA).

Nice to Have

    • Experience in digital asset / cryptocurrency infrastructure.
    • Understanding of custody, wallet infrastructure, key management, or post-trade systems.
    • Exposure to on-chain settlement mechanics.
    • Background in institutional client onboarding, conformance, or integration testing.
    • Experience modularizing a large platform or system of record into reusable services.
    • Familiarity with trading systems or order management.
    • Experience with Confluence-based documentation and knowledge management.

Benefits
  • Be part of an international, fast-paced blockchain and fintech team led by experienced professionals
  • Shape the future of finance while working at the cutting edge of B2B digital asset solutions
  • Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with flat hierarchies
  • Take on meaningful responsibility with room for learning and professional growth
  • Gain deep industry insights and make a tangible impact
  • Join regular company-wide meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team events
  • Enjoy a modern and central workplace in Zurich with top-tier infrastructure

Our culture

At the heart of our company, we prioritize:

  • Innovation and Continuous Learning
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

  • Due to the Swiss labour legislation, we can only accept applicants who have the right to work in Switzerland (are in possession of a Swiss work permit or are EU/EFTA citizens). All other applications will not be considered.
  • If this is the position for you, and you have a Swiss work permit and/or EU citizenship, please send us your complete application, incl. cover letter, CV, and references.
