Traba is building the AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain.
We started in the workforce space because contingent labor is the biggest operational pain point our manufacturing and logistics customers face. We used it to embed ourselves inside their daily operations and create a far better customer experience through technology. Now those same customers are pulling us beyond staffing into the broader operational workflows that run their facilities. That foundation gave us proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise relationships.
But our edge is more than data. By connecting to the systems running across every facility and activating the workers already on our platform to execute against them, we are building applied AI that drives real productivity gains and transforms how the global supply chain operates at scale.
We are backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
The RoleOur product isn’t just an app; it’s the labor we match and deploy into warehouses and manufacturing facilities throughout the USA (and eventually, the world). Every product decision impacts supply, demand, fulfillment, customer outcomes, and marketplace health.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Product Manager to own and evolve our staffing product that sits at the center of Traba’s marketplace. You'll own the staffing product at the center of Traba's marketplace, working across both sides: the enterprise customers who run distribution centers and manufacturing lines, and the workers whose trust and reliability are what those customers are actually buying.
In addition to collaborating with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, and other product managers on the team, you’ll also work closely with our operations and field teams to design, build, and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities.
This role reports directly to our VP of Product.
What you’ll doArchitect and steward our product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows
Solve complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes
Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering teams to execute solutions
Build systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency
Use data to uncover hidden patterns and answer critical marketplace and customer questions
Translate operational complexity into scalable product systems
Scale operations by designing smart internal tooling and technical solutions
Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and operational environments
Visualize and communicate complex ideas from systems and workflows to operational models and product strategy
Socialize your work across all levels and departments while synthesizing diverse stakeholder feedback
Customer-obsessed. Product judgment is downstream of customer truth, and you act like it. You spend time on-site with the people using your product, on both sides of the marketplace. When the team debates a decision, you're the one who's already talked to three customers and two workers about it.
AI-native operator. You've changed how you work because of AI, not just added it to your stack. You prototype before writing a spec. You check in code to the production repo. You build internal agents to do research and analysis that used to take days. This shows up in how you operate, not how you describe yourself.
Marketplace operator. You have deep experience building products in two-sided marketplaces where supply and demand dynamics are real and operational complexity matters. You understand marketplace liquidity, matching systems, incentives, fulfillment, trust, and the tradeoffs required to maintain marketplace health at scale.
Enterprise B2B muscle. You have built products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and operational rollout challenges. You are comfortable navigating environments with regional operators, warehouse leadership, procurement processes, and layered customer organizations.
First-principles thinker. You spend equal time thinking about why, how, and what. You understand that strong product judgment often comes from deeply understanding systems and constraints rather than applying generic playbooks.
Operations systems builder. You have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You understand workflows deeply and know how to create leverage through systems that help teams operate more efficiently.
Builder mentality. Inventive and scrappy problem solver. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and know how to create meaningful outcomes without relying on giant teams or excessive process.
Deeply collaborative. You work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, customer teams, and leadership. You know how to align stakeholders and build trust across functions.
