About the Team

Join the Clinical Decision Support team at Elsevier as we transform how physicians and clinicians make decisions through trusted evidence, intelligent technology, and workflow-integrated experiences. By combining Elsevier’s world-class clinical content with modern product design, data, and responsible AI, we deliver decision support that improves confidence, efficiency, and patient outcomes at the point of care.

Our two main solutions (ClinicalKey & ClinicalKey AI) are used in high-stakes clinical moments—diagnosis, treatment selection, care planning, and patient communication—where accuracy, speed, and trust are essential. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of clinical decision support across web, mobile, and integrated healthcare workflows.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Clinical Decision Support to help define the vision, strategy, and delivery of decision support capabilities for physicians and clinicians. Reporting to senior product leadership, you will own a meaningful portion of the CDS roadmap (Products: ClinicalKey & ClinicalKey AI) and work closely with peers across the Clinical Solutions portfolio.

You will translate complex clinical needs into actionable, workflow-aligned product experiences—balancing evidence rigor, usability, technical feasibility, and commercial impact. This role requires strong product judgment, comfort operating in regulated environments, and close collaboration with clinicians, engineers, designers, and data partners.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and own a portion (ClinicalKey & ClinicalKey AI) of the Clinical Decision Support product roadmap, aligned to strategic priorities and customer needs.

  • Collaborating with product leadership to shape vision and strategy, informed by customer insights, usage data, and market dynamics.

  • Translating complex clinical problems into clear, actionable product requirements that support confident decision-making at the point of care.

  • Conducting hands-on user discovery and concept testing with physicians and clinicians to validate unmet needs and inform prioritization.

  • Partnering with engineering, data science, design, clinical, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through launch.

  • Defining key success metrics and monitor performance across adoption, engagement, and workflow impact, using data to guide iteration.

  • Supporting the responsible application of AI within clinical decision support, ensuring transparency, safety, and trust in all experiences.

  • Ensuring solutions meet regulatory, clinical, and quality standards while remaining practical and usable in real-world clinical environments.

Requirements

  • Have 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex SaaS or B2B products from strategy through delivery.

  • Experience working on healthcare, clinical software, decision support, or regulated technology products strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage a product or major capability end-to-end, including roadmap definition, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch optimization.

  • Proven technical fluency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams.

  • Demonstrated experience using customer research, experimentation, and analytics to inform product decisions.

  • Experience defining and tracking product metrics across adoption, engagement, and quality.

  • Have communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to align clinical, technical, and commercial perspectives.

  • Have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Health Sciences, Computer Science, Product Design, Health Informatics, or Business).
