The ideal candidate has hands-on healthcare product management experience, understands EMR workflows, and can translate customer and clinical needs into clear product requirements and business value.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Own Product Strategy, Value, and Outcomes

  • Own products end to end — from problem discovery and business case development through delivery, launch, and ongoing value realization.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned to customer needs, clinical impact, and company priorities.

  • Write clear business cases and product proposals, and present recommendations to senior leaders, including clinical and executive stakeholders.

Customer & Clinical Partnership

  • Lead stakeholder interviews with customers, operators, and clinicians to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities.

  • Translate customer and clinical insights into clear, actionable product requirements.

  • Partner with customers to integrate solutions into real-world clinical environments.

Product Development & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with prompt engineering, data science, UX, clinical, regulatory, and other product teams to design, build, and ship high-quality AI-enabled healthcare products.

  • Own requirements for new product waves and enhancements, balancing speed, quality, and regulatory considerations.

  • Operate effectively in a growth-stage environment where priorities evolve and teams move quickly.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Bring new ideas and perspectives to product discussions and proactively identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Partner with clinical and product leaders to evolve solutions that improve outcomes, workflows, and customer value.

Go-to-Market & Adoption

  • Work with sales, marketing, and customer success teams on product launches, positioning, and customer adoption.

  • Support customer-facing activities as needed to ensure successful deployment and ongoing use.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track success metrics tied to customer outcomes, adoption, and business impact.

  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine product direction and priorities.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with direct experience building healthcare products (not revenue cycle or back-office-only systems).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Businessor a related field.

  • Hands-on exposure to EMR/EHR systems and clinical workflows.

  • Experience owning products end to end in complex, regulated environments.

  • Strong customer-facing experience working with operators, clinicians, and physician leaders.

  • Working understanding of AI-enabled product workflows, with the ability to partner effectively with AI and data science teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting product strategy to senior and clinical leadership.

  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, manage change, and stay effective in fast-moving environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building solutions in primary care settings.

  • Deeper AI/ML product experience (many successful candidates develop this on the job).

  • Experience partnering closely with dedicated AI or prompt-engineering teams.

  • Familiarity with agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Aha, and Miro.

Expected Work Environment

  • Hybrid role with a requirement to work a minimum of three days per week in our Cambridge office.

  • The Cambridge office is a highly collaborative environment and home to many of the teams that support Tom, our AI platform.

  • Regular in-person collaboration with product, engineering, clinical, and AI teams is an important part of how work gets done.

  • Open to travel approximately 2–3 days per quarter to support quarterly planning and customer engagement as needed.

What We Do

Lumeris is a tech-enabled value-based care company driving the future of healthcare through cloud-native platforms, AI, and data engineering. We partner with health systems, payers, and physicians nationwide to improve patient outcomes, lower costs, and reimagine the clinical experience. At the center of our technology strategy is Tom™, an industry-first AI-powered platform built on Google Cloud Platform. Tom uses advanced generative AI, agentic systems, and predictive analytics to reduce administrative burden, deliver real-time clinical insights, and help physicians focus on patients—not paperwork. Our engineers, data scientists, and clinicians work together to tackle challenges like: Designing scalable data pipelines that unify disparate health data (EHR, HL7, FHIR). Building and deploying production-grade AI/ML models on Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataflow. Operationalizing MLOps and AI Ops frameworks for speed, reliability, and compliance. Embedding LLM-powered agents into clinical workflows and patient-facing applications. Applying cloud-first design principles with modern stacks (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker) to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability. With more than a decade of experience in value-based care, Lumeris combines deep healthcare expertise with a startup mindset in tech innovation. Every project directly impacts patient health, provider satisfaction, and the way care is delivered at scale.

Why Work With Us

For engineers and builders, Lumeris offers the chance to work on hard technical problems with real-world impact: data modeling at population scale, responsible generative AI in regulated environments, and modernizing clinical workflows for millions of patients.
