About the Job
As Senior Product Manager, Business Platform, you will own day-to-day product management for the systems Splitero's business runs on while reporting to the Director of Product, Business Platform. Your product is the operational backbone of the company: the Salesforce-based platform and surrounding tooling that powers underwriting, servicing, funding, and compliance for an operations organization of 140+ people. You'll inherit a mature, business-critical product, and take over its execution: running structured intake from operational stakeholders, writing specs, sequencing the backlog with a dedicated Salesforce engineering team, and coordinating rollouts that land, not just ship. This is a high-autonomy role for a PM who treats internal users as customers and operational efficiency as the product.
At Splitero, we move fast, and the ideal candidate thrives in that environment. You are someone who can walk into a room of operations leads with competing priorities and leave with an aligned, sequenced plan and the credibility to hold it.
Responsibilities:
Product Execution & Delivery
- Own the bi-weekly sprint planning process and provide regular delivery visibility to the engineering team. You lead stand-ups as the team's main point of contact for workload, in collaboration with engineering leaders.
- Own the backlog and specs for the business platform: Salesforce workflows, document handling and processing, and new product tooling that delivers operational efficiencies and excellent user experiences
- Partner daily with the Salesforce engineering team on scoping, sequencing, and delivery through the standard release process
- Coordinate rollouts with the Product Operations Manager. Every release is paired with enablement, instrumentation, and an operations handoff that tracks adoption, success, and ongoing need assessments.
Stakeholder & Intake Management
- Run structured intake for feature requests across underwriting, servicing, funding, and compliance to turn raw requests into scoped, prioritized, transparent work, both from operational teams and product leadership.
- Serve as the day-to-day product contact for operations leads and the point of contact for engineering delivery and support.
- Say no credibly: manage competing priorities from a large stakeholder group with data and clear trade-offs rather than first-come, first-served.
Discovery & Measurement
- Spend time where the work happens to understand processing, underwriting, closing, servicing, and funding workflows well enough to spot what stakeholders don't ask for.
- Define success metrics per initiative (cycle time, throughput, error rates) and report on realized impact, not delivery
- Feed triage and adoption data from the Product Operations Manager into backlog priorities.
Delivery, Governance & Measurement
- Ensure all platform changes go through the standard deployment and enablement process to protect the integrity of integrations across Salesforce and the core web platform.
- Define and track the team's success metrics: ops throughput per head, workflow cycle times, request turnaround, and platform adoption.
- Partner with the Product Operations Manager and Analytics on instrumentation to measure platform impact rather than assert it.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to the Director of Product, Business Platform.
- No direct reports; partners closely with the Analytics, Manager of Engineering (Salesforce), and the Product Operations Manager.
About You
- 4 - 6 years in product management with meaningful ownership of internal platforms, business systems, or operational tooling.
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem with enough experience to scope realistically, understand configuration vs. custom development trade-offs, and respect deployment discipline.
- Proven stakeholder management with large, non-technical user bases; you've run intake processes and defended prioritization decisions.
- You measure product success in operational outcomes such as throughput, cycle time, and adoption, and can show it.
- High autonomy: You've operated with a director who sets direction, not one who reviews your tickets.
- Track record at a startup or growth-stage company; comfortable when priorities shift.
- Salesforce certifications in business administration, development, or similar domains.
Preferred:
- Experience in fintech, lending, or proptech operations — underwriting, servicing, or funding workflows
- Experience with workflow automation, document processing, or AI-assisted operational tooling
- Experience inheriting a product from a founder-owner and earning stakeholder trust through the transition
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
