We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to lead regulatory-related product initiatives and receivables registration flows in Brazil. This role is critical for ensuring that our Payment Institution complies with the evolving requirements of the Brazilian Central Bank (BACEN) and other regulators, while enabling scalable, enterprise-grade solutions for our large corporate clients.

As the Product Manager, you will own the roadmap for regulatory compliance and receivables registration (SRR). You will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to design, implement, and maintain solutions that meet regulatory obligations and deliver value to enterprise merchants.

What will I be doing?

  • Act as the product lead for regulatory matters in Brazil, ensuring alignment with BACEN, Receita Federal, and Judiciary requirements.
  • Translate new regulatory requirements into clear, product- and operational-focused solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the implementation of all regulatory matters required for a licensed Payment Institution.
  • Lead product regulatory assessments and track closure of action items.

  • Receivables Registration (SRR)
  • Own the product strategy and execution for receivables registration (registro de recebíveis), ensuring compliance with BACEN mandates.
  • Collaborate with registradoras, banks, and internal systems teams to integrate receivables flows into the platform.
  • Design scalable solutions for receivables management for large enterprise clients and marketplaces.
  • Monitor and enhance processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely registration of receivables.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Engineering to prioritize development of regulatory and SRR features.
  • Work with Finance/Treasury on settlement, FX, and expatriation flows impacted by regulatory rules.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance to ensure new products meet all licensing and tax requirements.
  • Align with Operations to build robust processes for receivables registration, dispute handling, and reporting.

  • Governance & Reporting
  • Define and monitor KPIs for regulatory and receivables flows (e.g., compliance rate, SRR timeliness, error rates).
  • Support regulatory reporting obligations, audits, and supervisory requests.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on regulatory developments, risks, and roadmap impacts.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, Engineering, or related field (MBA or specialization in Payments/Fintech is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Regulatory Product roles, ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of Brazilian payments regulation (BACEN rules, SRR, Payment Institution framework, FX, tax considerations).
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Ops, and Technology.
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex regulations into actionable product requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with evolving requirements.
