The Product Manager will sit within the Business Insights team, driving the strategy, design, and delivery of internal analytics tools.
They will work closely with:
- Analysts to define tool functionality and user experience.
- Data Engineering to translate product needs into technical data requirements.
- Business Partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, CX) to gather, prioritize, and validate business requirements.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for cross-functional internal analytics platforms.
- Conduct customer discovery with business stakeholders to capture needs and define user journeys.
- Partner with Analysts on insight delivery and tool design for maximum usability and adoption.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure backend data requirements and structures are aligned.
- Lead enablement programs: onboarding, training, self-service documentation.
- Drive adoption through data storytelling, visualization excellence, and change management.
Key Skills and Requirements
- 3–7 years experience owning product lifecycle (discovery to delivery).
- Strong in data storytelling, KPI definition, dashboard UX, and business metrics.
- SQL proficiency, familiarity with data platforms (BigQuery, dbt), BI tools (Looker, Tableau).
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, CX, and Analytics Engineering teams.
- Proven success creating onboarding programs, training sessions, and driving self-service analytics adoption.
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and embedding privacy/security best practices in analytics tools.
- Ability to align analytics tool strategy with broader business goals and anticipate future needs.
- Excellent communicator, highly organized, growth mindset, global perspective.
- CRM and Marketing Platforms: Salesforce, HubSpot
- Analytics Platforms: Looker, Tableau
- Data Infrastructure: BigQuery, dbt
- Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Slack
Success in this role means building products that deliver real business value, are loved by end users, and create a foundation for scaling data-driven decision-making across WP Engine.

Base Salary Range
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
