About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the execution and iteration of our AI powered document intelligence capabilities. This role will drive product discovery, prioritization, and delivery for our document extraction service, scaling it across the firm and deepening its capabilities to generate meaningful insights from client-provided data.
In this role, you will be embedded in a platform-oriented environment, owning a live API-based product already in production with active internal integrations. Your primary customers are internal platform teams and the consultants who rely on their products. You will operate within an Agile squad and your success will be measured by adoption, integration quality, and time-to-value outcomes rather than GTM metrics.
This role sits within the Platforms and Partnerships group at AlixPartners. You will join a cohort of experienced product managers who are leveraging cutting-edge tools across all stages of the product development lifecycle — from discovery and design through delivery and iteration. As part of this group, you will not only build products but also help evangelize product development best practices and demonstrate the value of a modern product discipline.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Product Manager you will own the day-to-day execution of the document extraction services, drive the discovery and vision for the expansion of this service into a broader document intelligence solution, and contribute to the evolution of Core Services, a modular suite of AI capabilities built as reusable APIs.
You will identify opportunities to iterate, improve quality, and expand adoption across internal Platform teams. This role requires a balance of structured execution and discovery thinking: you'll be expected to run a tight Agile delivery process while also conducting user research and validating new capability opportunities as the product matures. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, and business stakeholders, and help evangelize product best practices within the Platforms and Partnerships group.
Taking full ownership of early-stage product outcomes, you will drive seamless execution by overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle, leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, legal, and business stakeholders. With a focus on execution excellence, you will ensure that early product iterations lead to strong validation and successful value delivery to partnering product teams. Additionally, you will champion emerging technologies like AI/ML, foster a culture of continuous innovation, and inspire teams to transform new ideas into market-defining products.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Product Discovery: Conduct customer research, market analysis, and prototype testing to identify and validate innovative product opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Translate ambiguous AI capability requests into scoped experiments with clear success criteria, ensuring validation is grounded in measurable outcomes before committing to full development.
Decision-Making Ownership: Leverage data-driven insights to evaluate ideas and develop well-reasoned go/no-go recommendations for leadership. You will own the analytical rigor behind prioritization decisions, including ship/no-ship calls on AI features where outputs are probabilistic and success criteria must be defined before evaluation. You will expected to clearly articulate tradeoffs between technical feasibility, user impact, and business value.
Strategic Roadmap Planning: Contribute to and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, balancing near-term integration commitments with longer-term capability investments. Translate organizational goals and stakeholder input into a clear, actionable backlog that the team can execute against with confidence.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, business product owners, legal and compliance, and business leaders to ensure alignment on product objectives and feasibility throughout the development lifecycle.
End-to-End Product Delivery: Oversee the entire product development process, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
Performance Optimization: Define and track key performance metrics, including AI-specific evaluation frameworks. Partner with ML engineers to define quality benchmarks and iterate on model performance based on real-world usage data. Analyze user feedback to optimize product performance and drive iterative improvements.

AlixPartners Compensation & Benefits Highlights
The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about AlixPartners and has not been reviewed or approved by AlixPartners.
-
Strong & Reliable Incentives — Pay is positioned as market-competitive to above-market in core consulting tracks, with sizable variable pay that can meaningfully lift total compensation in strong years. Total compensation is also described as especially competitive within restructuring/turnaround relative to many generalist peers, even if comparisons versus top strategy firms can vary by level and year.
-
Parental & Family Support — Paid parental leave is described as up to 12 weeks of bonding leave in addition to birth-related short-term disability, which is competitive in U.S. consulting. Family-building support is highlighted via fertility/IVF, surrogacy, and adoption assistance, plus programs to support new parents and caregivers.
-
Equity Value & Accessibility — A Value Accumulation Plan (VAP) provides equity-linked units after tenure thresholds, giving eligible employees long-term upside that is uncommon below the partner level in consulting. This ownership-like component is positioned as a distinctive wealth-building differentiator beyond standard salary and bonus.
