Job Description

The Opportunity 

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product. 

The Identity Platform team powers every customer’s first touchpoint with Adobe. Identity is at the heart of how millions of people sign up, sign in, recover accounts, and access products seamlessly across devices and surfaces.

As a Senior Product Manager in Bucharest, you will shape the next generation of secure, simple, and intelligent identity experiences. You’ll define how we evolve authentication, MFA, passkeys, device trust, and AI-driven risk signals—while reducing friction and improving conversion for customers around the world.

You will partner with global engineering, design, analytics, and product teams to solve high-visibility challenges such as cross-device continuity, agent/LLM identity, account recovery at scale, and progressive profiling. This role provides the opportunity to influence every Adobe product, experiment with innovative solutions, and deliver platform capabilities that directly impact activation, retention, and trust.

What you'll do:

  • Lead customer discovery to identify friction across the account lifecycle (sign-up, login, recovery, consent, deactivation) and translate insights into prioritized opportunities.

  • Drive data-informed decisions by defining success metrics, testing hypotheses, and using experimentation, funnel analysis, and performance dashboards.

  • Own Identity platform capabilities including authentication, MFA, authorization, device trust, and session assurance, ensuring compliance with standards like OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2, and NIST guidelines.

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap in partnership with global PM, engineering, analytics, and design teams, using agile practices.

  • Balance security, usability, performance, and risk reduction while improving engagement, retention, and platform health.

  • Stay current on industry trends in identity management, risk-based authentication, device intelligence, and AI-driven personalization.

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in large-scale consumer or platform environments.

  • Strong background in Identity & Access Management, authentication, MFA, or account lifecycle products.

  • Highly analytical, customer-focused, and experienced in metrics-driven product development.

  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional influencer in globally distributed teams.

  • Technically proficient with modern identity standards and protocols.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
