We are seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security Engineering team. In this role, you will help build and maintain our internal defense-in-depth strategy to protect our global infrastructure, internal platforms, and the digital identity of our workforce.

This role moves beyond traditional security silos to develop the technical foundations of a resilient enterprise. While maintaining a deep understanding of adversarial tactics, your primary focus will be to proactively harden, detect, and respond across our enterprise and multi-cloud environments. You will support the evolution of our autonomous AI-driven SIEM, assist in Incident Response efforts, and ensure our rapid adoption of cloud technologies is governed by robust, automated security guardrails.

• Assist in the design and optimization of our internal SIEM and SOAR platforms. 

• Serve as responder for security incidents affecting our enterprise assets and employees.

• Monitor and manage the organization’s global attack surface. 

• You will analyze web traffic patterns to detect and block malicious activity, phishing attempts, and data exfiltration while ensuring secure internet egress. 

• Work with the wider team to help implement Identity Threat Detection and Response strategies to protect our users.

• Align enterprise technical controls with industry frameworks, including FedRAMP, SOC2, and ISO.

• Participate in a global Follow the Sun on-call rotation, you will collaborate with international engineering hubs to ensure 24/7 coverage of the enterprise environment and maintain our Assume Impact readiness posture.

• 1+ years in a defensive security role focusing on enterprise environments.

• Basic knowledge of SIEM platforms and MDR, working with vendors for log analysis and event monitoring.

• Foundational ability to participate in incident response efforts, including containing active threats and assisting with root cause analysis in enterprise environments.

• Some exposure to Python or Go to assist with building security tooling and automated playbooks.

• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and how it relates to common defensive controls.

It’d Be Awesome If You Also… 

• Have experience building autonomous IR playbooks that use LLMs for automated alert enrichment and summarization.

• Are active in the security research community, contributing to open source security tools or presenting at local meetups.
