The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic Tech projects.

Join Edenred’s Core Product team as a key contributor to the evolution of EDPS (Edenred Direct Payment Services), helping shape it into a strategic, datadriven platform powering reliable, scalable, and secure payment experiences across markets.

You will play a central role across the full product lifecyclefrom shaping the vision and strategy to driving discovery, delivery, and outcomeswhile synthesizing market trends, business priorities, and product needs to help guiding EDPS in the right direction.

Key responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Help define and communicate a compelling EDPS vision aligned with Edenred’s strategy and market realities across regions.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a multi-horizon roadmap balancing short-term impact with long-term platform investments (reliability, performance, scalability, security).
  • Benchmark EDPS against competitors and emerging standards to maintain a strong orchestration edge.
  • Translate strategy into clear objectives, outcomes, and prioritized initiatives with explicit trade-offs.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

  • Establish North Star, commercial, and product health metrics. Instrument analytics end-to-end and drive decisions through facts, not opinions.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets across markets, channels, and segments to uncover opportunities and risks.
  • Validate hypotheses via experiments, A/B tests, and cohort analyses to demonstrate product-market fit and ROI.
  • Build decision frameworks that balance growth, risk, cost-to-serve, and user experience.

Discovery & User Value

  • Partner with BUs, BLs, merchants, partners, and end-users to deeply understand pain points and jobs-to-be-done.
  • Convert insights into sharp problem statements, prioritized outcomes, and well-scoped solutions.
  • Ensure the product delivers tangible value while minimizing operational complexity and cost.

Technical & Platform Leadership

  • Work closely with our technical team to drive the design of robust APIs, orchestration flows, and event-driven capabilities.
  • Set high standards for reliability (SLOs/SLAs), observability, readiness, and incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant and applicable industry standards and security best practices in partnership with Legal/Security.

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

  • Roadmap executed against clearly defined OKRs and a positive impact on KPIs; measurable uplift in approval rate, conversion, latency, uptime, other.
  • Improved SCA pass rates with low user friction; chargebacks and false declines reduced while protecting revenue.
  • Analytics foundations in place (event taxonomy, instrumentation, Power BI dashboards) enabling fast, data-backed decisions.
  • Consistent product narrative and documentation across stakeholders (API specs, runbooks, GTM materials).

Required skills & profile

  • 8+ years in Product Management, including 4+ years in payments/fintech (orchestration, acquiring, PSPs, gateways, risk/fraud).
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-country payment products from strategy to scaled adoption.

Domain Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of payment networks, alternative payments (wallets/APMs), tokenization (incl. network tokens), User Authentication, retries, routing, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2/PSR, AML/KYC, and industry best practices.

Technical & Data

  • Comfortable discussing APIs, webhooks, idempotency, event models, microservices, and cloud patterns with engineers.
  • Advanced analytics mindset; proficiency with Power BI and SQL for self-serve analysis; experimentation literacy (A/B testing).
  • Ability to define instrumentation, event taxonomy, and product health dashboards.

Leadership & Communication

  • Autonomous, decisive, and rigorous—able to make calls with incomplete information grounded in data and risk trade-offs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; adapts language from deep technical discussions to executive narratives and customer value stories.
  • Collaborative and influential; mentors PMs and elevates teams without formal authority.

Languages:

  • Fluent English required; Rumanian, French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Tools

  • MS Suite and Power BI; experience with analytics and experimentation tooling is desirable.
